Haha oh my god that was really fun. I appreciate despite how elaborate the end sequence is, the timing is all very lenient. I was also really surprised by the using the funnel to actually catch the gel. Also big not gate fan. This puzzle was really well thought out. Damn nice!

Good test! Really had me thinking about where I placed each cube.

unintended solution

That...was...AWESOME! What a fantastically timed end sequence.
The map has a good flow from one step to another. In the middle I was a bit unsure about how to reach the exit at all. I avoided air strafing from the beginning, not just because I read the description but because I too think that this is no proper problem solving. Yet it helped me early on to have something like a null portal in mind.
What I did next was experimenting with different gel spots, shorter than the intended fling. When I had found most of the sequence but the last bit of it, I successfully tried a two panel fling that made me skip that beautiful sequence and involved no cube sacrifices at all.
I wasn't pleased with this so I kept looking for the correct solution. What a blast it was when I eventually found the last bit of the intended timing.
Kudos for coming up with such an idea! and a fav!

Very cool map. Felt like lots of connections but the reuses and compact layout made up for them. Very cool final move too, a cube stack into a respawn

I was wondering where the second and third funnels were before rereading the title. Nice puzzle! Unfortunately, I too used the unintended slight air strafe, which looks like it has already been commented to death. I assumed it was intended at first since it was slight before realizing that my sequence wasn't quite in line with the title. After returning and properly following the rules, I quite enjoyed the showcased sequence.

That was incredible! I can't believe it! I can't even imagine how this all came together, surely there is no one smart enough to plan out a puzzle like this? Of the hundreds of maps I've played, I've seen very few puzzles I would consider "masterpieces", but this one, no question, is a masterpiece. I don't know how you did it, but thanks for making.

Fantastic map. I love it.

Fun! I solved it the intended way, but not without considerable thought.
Yuuubi 21 Apr, 2019 @ 12:12pm
A nice puzzle :) Found a fun ninja solution that bypasses most of it: put blue gel on e.g. the companion cube, then grab it and jump off the CC platform, bounce twice on blue surfaces towards the exit (with a little air strafing to hit the first one), then cross the goo by letting go of the cube and hitting it midair to give you enough momentum

This map good

Niiiiice! I really liked the concept and its execution was on point. The purple surfaces were a nice touch and the choice of a title is pretty funny.

I noticed I solved the puzzle a tiny bit differently: instead of putting the blue cube on the grey cube, I put the grey cube on the blue cube. The main difference that way was that I had a little more time to do the precision fling. The only problem was - when flinging towards the blue surface, my portal was still open, so I landed inside, instead of bouncing off. I used quickload one or two times there, but I just had to push left or right while in mid-air, so not to hit the portal. Both ways are equally valid in my opinion.

Same situation as bullfrog happened, but then it never worked. After many tries I read some posts to check if I was on a wrong track, but no. Strange bug...it's a shame cause I'm sure that the execution is as satisfying as the aha hit ;)
Big thumbs up anyway for a wonderfully laid out solution !

Excellent - found your map looking through friend favorites for some new challenges. Took a bit of thought to sort out the cubes - title is appropriate. Well done. Thanks for creating this. Will follow and try some of your other maps.

Again, a complex set of logical steps that have to be done in the right order. Fun! Thanks.
Nobody No-One 20 Jan, 2019 @ 9:36am
It's very much possible to skip the ghost cube by just "pressing a in the air for half a second". Just have the regular cube blocking the laser, the companion cube on the funnel button, and the black cube on the panel button. Then, when you respawn the black cube, the panel will go down, you can fling out, and slightly strafe to avoid the open portal. I think that should work, but it's obviously not intended.
quat 20 Jan, 2019 @ 9:15am
Well yeah but Id say there's a difference between spiraling all over the map, and pressing a in the air for half a second
Nobody No-One 20 Jan, 2019 @ 8:27am
@quaternary I mean if you're fine with air strafing you can also just skip the ghost cube maneuver entirely but the description says it's not intended
quat 20 Jan, 2019 @ 12:21am
You probably know about this, but I found a slightly alternate ending step on my play and it's pretty cool, but you do have to do a lil strafe to avoid bonking the inside of the portal on the last bounce, since it doesn't get automatically cleared https://youtu.be/cpQEphK1R_A

Cute map w

...oh, and added to favourites :)
bullfrog 19 Jan, 2019 @ 10:21pm
...thanks info; I redid the puzzle this morning and did the end move 5 times in a row with no problem - odd. Anyway; great puzzle, especially the way you get a single portal, big thumbs up.
HugoBDesigner  [author] 19 Jan, 2019 @ 1:58pm
@bullfrog: there is no difference between the move which should have worked and the one which did work. I presume it was some sort of bug with the timing; I've never experienced it before, sorry. Thanks for playing, though! The move that did work was right.
JohnWoo123 19 Jan, 2019 @ 3:38am
Very nice, took me some thinking.
bullfrog 19 Jan, 2019 @ 1:34am
...I thought I’d worked out the answer i.e. timing, but; end move which: should have worked? End move which: did work! I can’t see the difference, but that’s probably because I’m being thick :P
bullfrog 19 Jan, 2019 @ 12:51am
...I'm obviously missing something; the move looks the same, but with a different result, i.e. only one portal! Please enlighten me.
bullfrog 19 Jan, 2019 @ 12:17am
Excellent puzzle, especially as it only has two portal surfaces. I did have a problem with the end move: didn’t fling. So I did the same move, but: moved slightly in mid air, so I’m not sure if I did as intend, so time for a look at your video...
HugoBDesigner  [author] 12 Jan, 2019 @ 9:39am
Yeah, I'm not going to fix air strafing. I mentioned it in the description. Thanks for playing, though :)
BaRa.95. 12 Jan, 2019 @ 7:47am
Wow I did it differently. First I gained momentum from beam and ended up jumping on that blue surface next to button. Then I pressed the button and moved my portable surface to one on the wall. I jumped into portal under me and as I fell towards it pressed right so I jumped on a blue surface part next to the portal that takes you to the wall button. Didnt think of this complex cube placement. Still nice one :)
Leo 6 Jan, 2019 @ 3:11pm
I know, it's my fault, I didn't see what else to do. I'm sad both because I didn't take the time to find another way and because I wish it wasn't possible at all to break the portal magnet. Still, I do appreciate the cleverness of the puzzle.
Nobody No-One 6 Jan, 2019 @ 2:24pm
The portal magnet always worked properly for me. Well, I never deliberately tried to break it because breaking a portal magnet is obviously unintended, but the portal never accidentally went to the side.
Leo 6 Jan, 2019 @ 2:04pm
I broke the ending move the same way as Anpy, because of this damn portal magnet that doesn't work properly... so now I'm sad :( the rest of it was fun though, and the intended ending sequence is reaaally clever. Clever enough to deserve a favourite!
jandlml 1 Jan, 2019 @ 10:44pm
really great map! definitely took me some major thought on how to set up that final cube placement.
HugoBDesigner  [author] 1 Jan, 2019 @ 1:57pm
Thanks for the heads up, guys! Turns out that the exploit Joric and bullfrog found requires a very specific fling, which Nobody and I seemed to miss (despite trying other similar flings). It should be fixed now, along with a couple other tweaks. I'm genuinely surprised at how great of a reception this map has had in such a short amount of time. Thank you everyone!
Malfaction 1 Jan, 2019 @ 11:48am
Several elements were not needed. Only one cube needed and what was the button above the target panel for? Solution for me seemed failry simple.
lack of a better name 1 Jan, 2019 @ 9:48am
Great elegant puzzle. I love how you used the cubes in the end move.
anpy 1 Jan, 2019 @ 7:38am
Awesome puzzle! I did the end a bit differently than showed in the solution video: I put the portal on the surface near the goo all the way to the left and the blue cube blocking the laser before doing the flings. You solution is much more clever though :) Thumbs up and favorite :)
jgaultney 1 Jan, 2019 @ 7:34am
@Nobody No-One, same here.
Nobody No-One 1 Jan, 2019 @ 6:57am
I swear I tried what Joric did in the second video and it didn't work for me. Weird.
KAKTUS ‡SvK‡ 1 Jan, 2019 @ 3:40am
fun
bullfrog 1 Jan, 2019 @ 1:40am
I found the same as @Joric - only needed one cube!
Joric 1 Jan, 2019 @ 1:36am
You don't really need 2nd cube either https://youtu.be/EHkswU-ij-Q new year playtesting I guess.
Joric 31 Dec, 2018 @ 11:31pm
Something's wrong with your setup, I didn't need the 3rd cube https://youtu.be/sDbJeqW29RE

Better than I remembered, a solid favorite! :LIS_star:
Purple walls are still there but it's not really a big deal :P
