Since the cube dropper is really close to the fizzler you can easily get 2 cubes from it. (But it is pretty easy to get the cube from the other room) You can also get the cubes into the room easily by phasing them through the grate.

Fun maze-like map. Thanks!

Interesting and fun to play.

Was good, nice to find it can be done without fiddling the bridges.

Without any cheats :)
wildgoosespeeder 25 Sep, 2013 @ 8:37am
I'm saying it feels like cheating.

I know what you mean but thanks for pointing out, I sometimes overlook things like this only this time it's intended :P
This map was for the mapping challenge at the Portal 2 Level Creation Group and the theme was light bridges, that button is only of use when the puzzle is solved so i placed a bridge to keep the physical player out and a fizzler to keep the cube in. While mapping the bridge wasn't even there, I added it just before publishing to add some aesthetic value to the light bridge theme :)

I can toss the cube onto the button with this trick without disabling the light bridge. Trust me on the glass panes part.

You can indeed shoot a portal through there but it's useless to do so because the exit still will be closed.
I made it a fizzler to prevent players to take the cube out of there (might still be possible using the grating glitch though)
Anyway, thank you for playing and your feedback :)

It was a little confusing at first but I pulled it off. The fizzler that blocks the cube button that activates laser fields near the exit door, I can slip a portal between the crack it forms. Glass panes fix this issue from past experiences.

Try my coop map?

Wow and I though I got everything, then you come around and get the cube trapped behind a fizzler completely unintended....
I came up with a fix, your trick won't work anymore :)
About getting stuck, it's intended to not being able to get back, you can only progress further or stay there and die.
When you passed the window with the cc and turrets you can enter your portal, if you accidentally shoot the wrong one you can get back to the laserfield by portalling through the ceiling there and get your bridge back.
Thanks a lot for your video, it's a great feedback :)

You may have fixed it already, but you can get stuck in the hallway. Fun map and well thought out otherwise.

Good map, the "remote buttons" were fun. Felt slightly maze like, but not too bad.

Oh yes, this was a good chamber! A bit convoluted but nothing annoying. Well done :)

Revised to enforce intended solution
Thanks LPChip for the video, you didn't get both cubes like intended :)
nintendo.erk  [author] 21 Sep, 2013 @ 12:48am
you can actually get back, the lightbidge is reachable from behind the laser field allowing the player further into the puzzle and back to the start.
thank you for playing :)

Really enjoyed this map. LOVED the use of lightbridges and portals to switch weighted buttons on and off at strategic moments. Not usually a fan of twisty turny mazelike chambers but this one was fun. I did not like how you can get trapped behind the laser field that comes up behind you when you start down the hallway near where the turrets are torturing the poor companion cube. I accidently shot the wrong color portal and there was no way back except to suicide by bottomless pit.

First good one of the day! Really enjoyed the map

I enjoyed this although I feel like I may have done a couple of unintended things. (Standing on 2 stacked cubes to obtain the lightbrdge, moving the grate-enclosed cube over by using the roof). These may have been intended things but it made me feel like a jolly theif doing them.
nice work.

skybox wall on the floor at the bottom of the pit, also laserfields and triggers to kill the player if fallen down.
this map actually has 4 of those pits but one has grating on it so you can't fall down :)
Chronos™ 19 Sep, 2013 @ 12:40pm
How have you made the first "falling down into nothing" ?
