Haha I quite liked that. I think my fav room is the second. In theory I wouldn't like the move, but its actually surprisingly consistent, easy to do and all around pretty cool. Just unusual. I also like me some sleek funnel maneuvering. I liked room 1 and 3 as well, just 2 was very unique to me. Nice work!

@zeo1337 I can't really hate on that solution; it's genuinely impressive haha

Yeah... my brain is getting tired and trying literally everything

@Mr Fab Just watched your blind run video! It was very entertaining as always. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it so much :D
Mr Fab 2. nov. 2022 kl. 23:47
This map was so much fun to play. I really like the moves for those puzzles  Favorited ! My blind playthrough https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhZvMB5WWKI

@JiggleYourJerkyMrTurkey Thank you! I agree that the second room is a bit questionable but hopefully it was still nice to figure out!
@lfairban Sorry for commenting (almost!) a year late, but thanks for playing :cozycrashfish: Excellent work solving all the puzzles!
JiggleYourJerkyMrTurkey 7. juli 2022 kl. 8:02
Very good map! First part was especially good in my opinion. However, the second part (at least in my opinion) should've been its own stand-alone map considering how niche its trick is.
lfairban 8. juli 2021 kl. 13:10
I should have read the description first. It took me forever, several tries, to make it through the first room, then today, I did it! . . . and found another room. The rest didn't stop me as I became familiar with your sense of humor. They are all great logic challenges.

@Jade BGE Thank you so much :D Excellent work solving all of the puzzles! I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed it

How did I manage to accomplish these tests? I don't know. They were very hard for me. So fabulous! So smart! I'm thankful for creative brilliant people. A fav!

@KAKTUS ‡SvK‡ Thank you so much! Nice to hear from you again :D

brilliant ingenious
Libbybapa 20. jan. 2020 kl. 14:58
It's all good Mike, it just threw me for a loop. :)
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 20. jan. 2020 kl. 14:54
@Libbybapa I understand your confusion, but my reasoning is that in this case, you don't really have to angle the laser through the portal, it is done for you by the panel itself. This map contains some more somewhat creative ideas so I allowed myself some slightly more lenient mapping ethics. Also, you just played Worlds Apart, didn't you? :P Kind of the same story there imo
Libbybapa 20. jan. 2020 kl. 14:35
Hmmm, a laser going through a portal at an angle in a Mikeastro map? What? I completely discounted that as a possibility because of the number of times I have seen you bemoan angled lasers through portals. It's like rearranging the chess pieces mid-game. :-P I eventually also found the way that Spider_Dawg posted but figured that wasn't intended either due to the unused prominent portal surface.
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 17. nov. 2019 kl. 11:07
@BennyLava Haha yeah most people found the first room the most difficult, so don't give up!
@Spacekitten97 Thanks! That was indeed the intent of this map. I'm glad you liked it :]
SpKi 17. nov. 2019 kl. 8:29
Nice puzzles, all with one very clever and unusual move. Well done.
BennyLava 16. nov. 2019 kl. 7:18
it's a 100/10 in difficuty just in the the first room
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 16. nov. 2019 kl. 3:03
@Spider_Dawg Excellent work! I'm glad you enjoyed all of the puzzles in this map :]
Spider_Dawg 15. nov. 2019 kl. 19:58
Parts 2 and 3 solved as intended, pulled of that trick in part 2 on first attempt so was fairly sure it was what you had in mind. I had forgotten the mentions of Fumbly's puzzle concerning part 3 until I got the idea myself. More of an "oh yeah, that's what they meant" moment than an "aha". I usually don't look at the comments until I solve a puzzle myself. Fortunately it didn't ruin the solution, thanks to my poor memory. Enjoyable set of puzzles, thanks!
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 14. nov. 2019 kl. 23:28
@Spider_Dawg Lol I hadn't even thought about F(U) that way xD But about your solution: yikes, I might wanna fix that some day. Very creative, thanks for the video :]
Spider_Dawg 14. nov. 2019 kl. 16:11
Once again, my "logic" is different, although I wouldn't call it "cheating" in part 1:
https://youtu.be/ZenU6tQ1CK8
As for the definition in the description, you lost me at the "eff (you)" part.
nock 28. okt. 2019 kl. 3:55
So the punishment of mike wasn't bad enough on the previous 2 days, we then have to go and play another! Thankfully, this one was a little more straightforward. 2nd room was questionable, but glad I'd done it as intended

@asears16 Thank you very much for the video! It was very interesting to see you figure out the trick each time. Even though you said you found the second room a bit iffy, which I do understand, you still seemed to pull it off second try - not bad :P I'm really glad that you enjoyed the map overall :]
asears16 16. okt. 2019 kl. 16:27
Good map, Mike! Though I found the key move in the second puzzle to be iffy, I really enjoyed the other two. :D

@•‹†ρđ› ĐūšР2ķ• Thanks for playing! I agree that it's not the cleanest, but I thought it was somewhat nice how this particular setup would force two uses of the panel even though it's admittedly a little iffy
•‹†ρđ› ĐūšР2ķ• 12. okt. 2019 kl. 5:53
Cool map with some nice tricks Mike! Although I think using panel/stairs force is a debatable quirk/exploit.
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 5. okt. 2019 kl. 14:16
@jp Thanks for playing! The description is indeed basically unrelated to the map itself :P
jp 5. okt. 2019 kl. 13:49
Excellent puzzle!
Room 2 is my favorite because of the use of the platform...
But I don't see the point of your long math formulas theory in the description; it has no connection with your map. The only related formula I used when I get to solve it was : "Eureka!"
:steamhappy:
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 3. okt. 2019 kl. 13:23
@quatrus Thanks for playing! Indeed the last room is quite easy if you've played Fumbly's Slowdive at some point in recent history :p
quatrus 3. okt. 2019 kl. 12:57
Another great set of maps - agree with some comments that last chamber was easiest. Thanks for continuing to create.
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2019 kl. 6:01
@可砸的六度双音 Thanks a lot for the video! All intended :]
@Narkodes I'm glad you liked it. The puzzles are presented in chronological order of creation, not necessarily in ascending difficulty. Thanks for playing :]
Narkodes 2. okt. 2019 kl. 5:29
Nice map! I enjoyed all three chambers. Ironically, the difficulty is decreasing from room to room imo. The first one took me a while and deserved a charming aha-moment. Big thumbs up.
可砸 2. okt. 2019 kl. 5:00
Excellent map!Although I’m not sure if all intended,it is very suitable for my taste:BITRAY_CrazyCube:

@Fumbly Bumbly Indeed that will work essentially without failure
@quaternary Thanks :]
quat 1. okt. 2019 kl. 18:28
Neat !
Fumbly Bumbly 1. okt. 2019 kl. 18:01
In room two, I've found that simply standing on the button and jumping once seems to suffice
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2019 kl. 14:37
@Leomievs Thanks for playing! It depends a bit on the timing how reliable room 2 is - once I figured out the correct moment to deploy the panel, I could do it numerous times in a row without failure. I agree that maybe the first time it can be a bit iffy. I'm glad you liked the map nonetheless :]
Leo 1. okt. 2019 kl. 14:29
Very nice set of puzzles! I liked the creative ideas in there. Room 2 stumped me for a bit, as for a few minutes I thought flinging the cube using the angled panel would be too unreliable. In the end the cube flew off target only once, not sure if I got somewhat unlucky or if it really was a tiny bit inconsistent. Anyway thanks for these refreshing puzzles! Big thumbs up.
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 29. sep. 2019 kl. 16:59
@PhilFromFrance Excellent work solving all of them! I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed :D
EndOfPortal 29. sep. 2019 kl. 15:37
Three smart puzzles with a minimum of elements. It was not easy for me, but I loved it.
:p2blue: Favorite :p2orange:
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 29. sep. 2019 kl. 11:14
@HankyMueller No problem :P I'll remember your words of wisdom - English not being my native language might have contributed partly to my poorly nuanced choice of words in the original description, so I'll be careful in the future.
Also, I couldn't have said it any more beautifully than you did in the final sentence of your comment. If only everyone knew that... :]
HankyMueller 29. sep. 2019 kl. 10:56
Sorry for the tangent haha.
HankyMueller 29. sep. 2019 kl. 3:19
I gotcha mike, no grudges here. Just important to be mindful that what you mean to say and what is heard can be different. And I agree with you wholeheartedly! A lot of my fellow high school students like to complain about how what they're learning won't be important in the long run, when in reality high school is only a stepping stone on one's path to true understanding of any discipline, whether it be literature or mathematics.
bullfrog 28. sep. 2019 kl. 10:15
@Joric, you're right, I mucked up, wrong link, this was meant to link sorry :) The other one, as I said "slightly different way, but I think it amounts to the same solution"
Mikeastro  [ophavsmand] 28. sep. 2019 kl. 9:49
@jgaultney Thanks for playing! Yep, you described bullfrog's exploit - my bad! I'll fix it soon
