I was able to save the save (pardon my french) with this mod. See https://cs2bus.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2939979417 Thank you a lot!

@kian.zarrin after i refresh all roads the game stutters and freezes once every few seconds. Saving it and re-loading doesn't fix it.

Broken node detector mod might also be useful

@kian.zarrin
Hi! When I update all networks in game I can't plop anything afterwards. Do you know why this is happening?

Thanks so much for making this mod kian.zarrin - using it I was able to find a broken bus line segment using the "find segment by ID number" feature. This broken segment was causing Node Controller 2.8 to raise a NullPointerException (NodeController.Patches.CalculateSegment.Postfix). Once I rebuilt the bus line segment, my errors went away!

Since I changed the name of the Adaptive Roads Mod to Adaptive Networks, Network detective does not recognized it.
This new version is compatible with Adaptive Network 3.2.17+
for compatibility with older versions of AN please download older releases from github.

Hey, thanks for this great tool. Really helped me.

TMPE discord is the best place to traffic issues.
wonderingpunk 8 NOV 2021 a las 14:17
I have lights worked out but if I could get more of the traffic to compress at them it would be great. But couple issues 1 is I'm thinking that possibly I messed up a turn onto a side road further ahead so cims detour from the most logical path and if I could figure out where it would keep them from pilling and 2 I'm kinda anal-retentive sometimes
kian.zarrin  [autor] 7 NOV 2021 a las 8:28
just build asym junctions with auto timed traffic lights.
wonderingpunk 7 NOV 2021 a las 6:27
Yeah i done all the TM:PE stuff but im thinking maybe i messed up a turn further up that I'm not noticing. Got heavy traffic and if it would all compress at the lights it would help things along. I'm at all costs trying to avoid roundabouts, lol. Thanks for the info and reply. Have a great day.

yeah this is for modders.

the debug build of traffic manager (which you should build yourself!) does give you such info but if you ask in TM:PE discord ppl might tell you better solutions.

Advanced Vehicle AI + Dynamic lane changing might help also separating turning lanes might help too (There is a policy for that).

If you ask in TM:PE discord you can get better help.

is this mod only for modders or is it valuable in game? I'm actually looking for a mod that allows me to see what each lane is doing individually. The in game vanilla tool is helpful but overwhelming trying to determine what a single lane is doing. I just hate having so much traffic piling into one lane backing up so far.

@Icefrog Eats PuPu What?

Lets say, from this Mods image, I wanted to change Lane [8] to a bus lane from sidewalk - TPME cannot do that. Im suggesting being able to just click Lane [8], change "Pedestrian | None" to "Vehicle | Bus", then the suggested mod would just update that road segment. A lot like CSUR but for surface roads instead of freeways.

If there was a mod with that capability then you wouldnt need all these custom road types where the only difference is lane type. Like in a 6lane road, one is 6lanes of cars and the other is 4lanes of cars with 2lanes of bus...why is there a need for a completely different road type instead of just changing two lane settings as "Vehicle | Bus" from "Vehicle | Car". Then the only 'road' you would need to build would be based on generic number of lanes and you could manually set each lane to whichever setting.

It would solve all the sillyness of "glad I have a billion different road types for every possible situation."

@BaconFase You've just described Traffic Manager President Edition (TM:PE). That mod will do everything you've just described. Hope that helps you.:slimehappy:

Are you able to take this mod a step further, in a new mod, and use it as a way to directly edit road segments? I'd love to be able to select segments and just manually change each lane's settings, rather than the vanilla-style of having to update a road with a new road.

Nice mod!

So helpful to see if the entered values in road editor are matching the road layout! Thank you very much!!!
