So, I got the mod to work. I needed to delete the entire directory in "Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III." I can only assume that the CK3 launcher has issues with config/cache dumping or something else obscure.

chop off all mods and leave only my mod. everything works

I thought so too, but I tested it just by itself and it did not work. I tried validating files, reinstalling, reinstalled to another storage drive, and I tried looking for some kind of option to "Clear User Cache" like what HOI4 has. But nothing is working and I think some things for this game are broke. For example, some kingdom banners are not sowing up on the world map making them transparent.

@Dr Chaz just checked out. everything works. most likely you have another mod. which is somehow connected with life focuses. and it conflicts with my mod

Unless I'm missing something, this mod does not work.

@Ashhhh2 this mod has no drastic changes in the versions of the game. there only one value changes in the file. therefore it will fit any version of the game. but i will update it for your peace of mind

You rly need to change this mod coz it's incompatybile with most other mods that changes same file.

Just reneme file:
"00_defines.txt"

to something like:
"(anything)_(anything)defines.txt"

I named my file for personal moding:
"moje_CKIII_defines.txt"

Then inside delete all coctent and leave only this inside:

NCharacter = {
FOCUS_ADULT_COOLDOWN_MONTHS = 0
}

This way your mod still is working same way as now, but it useonly this one specyfic line in file while for now u use all content of this file.

That's life expectancy at birth. It goes up much higher at later ages.

I'm in. I hate it when I gain useless lifetsyle perks when I max out, but still have 2 years left and will keep getting notice for unspendable perk points.
