Hi Ranger, I do not understand what you wish to update. My mod can run with the current version 1.16.2.3 and the various DLCs (though it does not leverage RoadsToPower or KhansoftheSteppe since I do not own these).

@p.l.hebert Hey how are you. I've been using this mod for my own vanilla+ modlist for some time now and appreciate it deeply. I was wondering if I could add some of the events from this mod to Eat, Pray, Slay so as to have them updated to the latest version. If not and you plan on coming back and updating this I could help you if you're short for time. Either way thanks for reading this.

Hi Desert Fox I do not think this mod conflicts per se with AGOT but it will be jarring because many of my events aim to bring a flavour of the actual Middle Ages, so there will be many instances where the text, referring for instance to Christ (if relgion appropriate), Greek philosophers or the customs of the time, will not fit well within the AGOT context.

Thanks Cuomo860. For the next update I will update Eunuch to Eunuch_1 in case that has an impact. As to the non-existent religions in triggers, I get your point but they should not be the culprit here - they either occur in a triggered description or in an event, 539, that cannot happen to a player that is not me (it is not in any on-action in the mod as uploaded).

@p.l.hebert. There are a lot of defunct triggers and modifiers and calls still included in this mod that could be causing these type of issues.

For example, non-existent religions in triggers, or traits (eunuch) can cause loops or incomplete processes.

The more mods the more likely issues can arise. I’ve pretty much had to make edits to every file in this mod to get it to work with my supercompatch. Feel free to pull the files from there and use them to maybe find something that may be an issue.

Or the user may just have a messed up download.

Hi Verrix, I do not have the Elder Kings 2 mod installed so I cannot replicate the issue you describec. It does make me wonder if the co-existence somehow, though I do not know why, sends the PC into an inescapable logical loop. I am afraid I do not know how to resolve the conflict other than by removing my mod from your set up. It should not affect your existing saves.

Hey, I can also confirm ProfDrHamster's issue. I am unsure why, but running this mod alongside Elder Kings 2 will cause my entire PC to softlock. I need to cycle my power to fix it, which makes it difficult to retrieve an error log.

My PC is very powerful and has no issues running EK2 without this mod.

Hi ProfDrHamster, can you give me more information? It runs without issues on my PC else I would not upload it. Perhaps it conflicts with other things? Or do you see anything odd in the error log? Since this mod is overwhelmingly just text (save some event images) it ought to have little performance impact.

The mod causes my game to load for very very long when I load a save, in some cases it stops responding :( and its mostlikly not because of my hardware

No, I haven't noticed any actual errors in the game, just saw this in the error log. So I reported this in case it has a potential impact on the game. Have a nice day! :steamhappy:

Hi Gwyncerbin. Does event 692 result in an error while you play. The reference to that faith is only in a description field.

Hi Staticwaves. You can run multiple mods so long as they do not modify the same vanilla files (unless then there is some compatibility patch or the logical issues are addressed through the loading order). My mod does not modify vanilla files so it ought to be compatible with everything.

Hi cellar, can you give more info on what happens? Do you know what event? I am not familiar with an error of the type you describe. I can run this mod with Community Flavor, Rename, and a few that add coat of arms variations - CFlavorPack loads first.

To tianzhao007 - Done, I mistakenly had the old 01_event_background file from pre RTPower in the mod folder and lumped it in. This mod was not meant to touch it.

Hi everyone, added about 50 events (well twenty of them are a chain if you choose to join a secret society....) Also updated syntax as appropriate to reflect scripting changes coinciding with Roads to Power to schemes (events and modifiers) and decisions (now arranged by UI in groups). I only provide English language localization.

Hi HolyMolyOllyPoly, the mod only adds random events, modifiers and event backgrounds, It does not rewrite vanilla files (which total conversions do). So my mod ought to work, from a coding perspective, with a total conversions setup just as well as with vanilla. However, many of my events have some connection to history, for immersion flavour, so they may refer to Christian or Islamic traditions for instance. Where I have scripted events that only fit a particular religion or cultural group, their trigger will never be true in a conversion game so they will never show up. Where I have multiple descriptions to accommodate different contexts and a catch-all default, you will get the generic text, which may be jarring with dragons.

ShadowMalachi - Yes, certainly. Saved games, when you resume, will just begin drawing from a wider pool of yearly events.
