Make the mod config menu required, not having it breaks many other mods

trying to add animated pedastal to one of my items but even though my anm2 is a literal copy and paste of the example file, it doesnt work. The anm2 is in resources/gfx/

This mod stops working correctly and potentially breaks other mods alongside it when MCM isn't enabled, because the mod tries to use the ModConfigMenu global without checking if it exists first.

This mod makes hearts UI invisible. Pls fix, I love this mod but I can't play without keeping track of my hearts!

My hearts were made invisible. I deactivated my mods one by one and this mod was what made it disappear, fyi.

If this mode is enabled, the mods Good Trip and Restart Until Special Room stop working. Maybe it disables some other mods, but that what i've noticed right away

This mod make me crash quite regularly with the following message that's spammed into the console:

Can confirm what PogChamp said below: mod is not compatible with 'external item descriptions'. it turns player health invisible
