I don't think spamming a similar message is going to inspire a modder in the least.
And every subsequent useless message with "1.9" or "update" just sucks the life out of the unpaid modders that choose to work on mods in their free time, and share their effort with the community.
For me, the vassal to arms mod and this AI submod, works sometimes for a while then it might crash. 1.8 update rendered my game unpredictable and unreliable. I cant tell which mods are still malfunctionning.. I might play for hours, then suddenly I get unrelenting CTD's.
In my opinion this mod is one of the culprits.
@Kodeks This mod only focuses on the AI decision making of declaring wars, not how they act during a war. I don't know if changing that behaviour is even possible.

Have you had a chance to test? -if I can help, just let me know.
Yes.
There were some minor changed, that would revert some new features added by RC (like some cultural pillar ones).
I adjusted it to them and it should now work, while including the new features of RC.
It seems just about every other mod which adds a call to arms mechanic makes no attempt to factor in the AI decision making process. Those make the game an unbalanced mess. In the absence of a vassal MMA system, this mod and it's features should be a part of the main game as a reasonable abstraction of defensive systems such as themata, regional askars etc.
BTW: Thanks for your work, I plan to use your mods when RC DLC comes out.
I have checked and both mods do not edit any "casus_belli_types" files that this mods edits, therefore it should work just fine.
That is part of the main mod's functionality, not of this sub mod.
For this purpose, I added a decision to enable/disable casus bellis this mod should work with. After starting a 1066 run, you can trigger the "VtA - Settings" decision and disable the "Norwegian Invasion" and "Norman Conquest" and then it won't apply to them.
