@ presto668 thank you for telling me, I will see what I can do about it. Unfortunately I don't have the map with me right now, but I will try to fix it as soon as possible.

There's a way to exploit and skip most of the map. I've managed to throw the first companion cube you get from behind the inactive laser wall, without falling in the trap and then i've jumped on that base that throw you in air put the "laser deviaton cube" in the blue beam that push it on the button who open the door.

I'm sorry i don't know the item's name in english i'm italian. Hope i have explained my self :)

@ presto668 I just checked in the editor, and play tested it again, but it works fine for me. Please make sure the laser is on the laser catcher.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I know. I did.

@presto668 the panel to the companion cube can be triggered by hitting the near by laser catcher with a laser

Something's wrong because I watched the video and the panel to the companion cube doesn't open for me.

Good map. Took me forever to get the first cube onto the button. Then I saw how it is meant to be done. I did it with a cube sacrifice, with another cube on top.

@ Mr. Crowley The death trap shouldn't be a problem if the player played the maps starting from the first test. Not sure how you manage to have 2 cubes left, but I will swap the unintended CC to a normal one.

You should fix the "getting stuck thing", its your third map and a player can get stuck in all of those maps. The so called "death trap" is a restart trap, which nobody likes, kill a player, punish him for getting into the trap but don't torture them.

Plus, in the end I had 2 companion cubes left, making a very stressful dicision to which I have to throw into the fizzler as only 1 companion cube can live!

Good work, thx. It's a subtlety often missed by PeTI test chamber creators.

@ portalmaster nvm, I get it, fixed it.

@ portalmaster I know that I can adjust it, but I am not sure how they can get trapped. It will be great if you can show me a video or something.

TIP: you can adust the position/orientation of the laserfield with its diamond-shaped handle, and use that to move the laserfield to the top level (there should be no space conflicts). Otherwise the player can get trapped by standing on a ledge.

@portalmaster
>The spare companion cube was intended as a way for the cube to show it's love to the player.
>Fixed.

Test results:
> Because of the conversion gel, I was able to finish with a companion cube to spare at the exit door.
> While everything is set up nicely and well-lit, there is one small area in the death trap where the player can get trapped and not die. Better use a laserfield instead of lasers there (on the top level so the player doesn't get trapped by standing on a ledge).
