hey i was loading into the game and noticed one of the loading screens is just the assassin creed Valhalla village is that like an easter egg image? if so nice edition lol

Me and a buddy have been playing this beautiful mod for about 36 turns and all of the sudden when battles happen, there's a desync or immediate disconnect from one another. FYSA

@yenza Ah, makes sense, lol. I was getting my ass kicked—fighting two civil wars and a two-front war on top of that. I had to abandon Rome for 60 in-game years; that’s how bad it was. Thanks for letting me know.

@Never Forgotten : hehe, sounds you have stumbled upon War Weariness! If you have lot of wars and/or loosing battles then your people get upset and you get problems like unit replenishment. In the faction tab you can see the different effects that you faction has.

@Red Panda : No plans for new units at the moment. Focus is Nova Attila right now but there are one update for Nova Roma planned!

By any chance, does this mod interfere with unit replenishment? After passing around turn 100, my units no longer replenish. I’m using a few other mods alongside yours, but none of them seem to affect replenishment, which leads me to believe this mod might be the cause. Is this a glitch caused by the mod, or is it a feature I’m not aware of?

Aft getting sick of WH3's bugs went back 10yrs.Mostly I'm satisfied with most of Rome2 so dont think I’d utilize all these mods, but about maybe most 10 issue I think most fan would agree need to be addressed; bring simple feature from the newer TWs to older ones. Like ur fighting a battle and you need to quit. Push escape, "quit to main menu" is not an option. You lose or you quit the whole game. Kudos to Dresden for making that Sack/Liberate mod, but caused a bug that messed up unit placement. There clear oversights to certain unit capabilities. Big one’s Scorpion Trireme. The range indicator circle only shows the range of the JAVELINS, not the SCORPION making the name pretty much a nuance; there is only one scorpion on a ship that can fit two or three. Even someone who is not a Rome Wiz can tell just by watching a amateur YouTube video shows that a Roman Scorpion has a more accuracy, firepower, and rate-of-fire than that is shown in the game's naval combat; ifish on the range.

@Stinky Fred : The only idea I can come up with would be some mod disabling. Are you using other mods without issue? I know MAC users have some issues (generally tho).

hey, i just downloaded the mod and started a new campaign with rome but all city names are missing, the bar where the name should appear is just blank. Any ideas what might be the issue (i'm playing in german)?

@Blairickk : Ah yes, I've been secretly looking in to Attila and preparing with what I would like to include in to that first release. No ETA at the moment but perhaps when there will be a free day I could put it all together! I went back to R2 to adjust a few more things according to your(the players) wishes :)

I think I saw somewhere that you may have teased a similar MOD for Attila. I am planning to play that next (I purchased a long time ago and never got around to playing) just curious if there was a time line for that and if not, anything close to your mod currently for that game. Thank you

I did the steps to use 40 men armies and I double checked that it worked when I loaded in, i still crash during the diplomacy after hitting next turn, thanks though

sometimes it crashes immediatley hitting next turn and sometimes it goes far into getting diplomacy from a couple countries, in particular though rome always declares war on me when it doesnt crash as soon as i hit next turn, thanks for the reply

@Yenza Fair enough, I thought it was a bit jarring with this aiming to be Vanilla+ as everything else is very consistent, but it's your mod after all. And good to know music replacers will work as an override, thanks for the info :)

@bafwbso : In Update 2 ( and 3) I re-implemented the old Incidents that existed before. I also think that they occur a bit too often. I'll keep it in mind to adjust how often they occur for the next update!

playing on very hard i am getting constant fires, floods and earthquakes across all my settlements which seems unrealistic and making the game unplayable. What am i doing wrong ? Thanks in advance.

It would also be nice if the music adjustments were a submod rather than mandatory. Hearing a crazy guitar riff on initiating a battle is not very time appropriate and a bit offputting in my opinion.

im using this list and only these mods, the only thing i didnt do is 40 unit and the blood mod as I dont have the blood dlc, I am getting consistent crashes when i click next turn about 100 turns into an egypt game, any ideas?

@Blairickk : Hm. I can't say that I've had the same issue but then again, I've never played the Scythians... perhaps there is some issue with that faction. I tested the tax slider not too long ago as Egypt and Rome and had no issues for several turns. Thank you for the report! I'll keep it in mind if I stumble upon the same issue!

First of all thanks for putting this together, it's nice to see a comprehensive vanilla plus overhaul! Something I noticed is that the agent unit cards are misaligned, so you can see the legs clipping through the bottom of the card. Would be nice to see that fixed if possible :)

Hi for some reason after turn 84 the game just freezes I went back to previous saves the game works fine but after the 84th turn the game just freezes any idea what might be the problem?

Just as an FYI I have played two campaigns (On 2nd one, Royal Scythians) the other was rome. I am using only the mods included, plus the unit card mod. I did all of the steps except for the stuff for increased army size. I am getting a crash after adjusting the tax slider. It is very consistent. When i adjust slider, the next time i click anywhere on the screen (does not matter where I tested) the game goes straight to desktop and closes out. If I remember and hit escape to bring up menu after adjusting the slider that seems to be a work around. I am only sharing this in hopes of helping others. Not sure if it is just on my end or not. Thank you for the amazing mod and your hardwork!
