Hi, It looks like they've disappeared. Checking the number of my scenarios on the workshop, it seems that that was all of them and I just used Gamefront as a stop gap while waiting for the route to be made final. Not.Silent also made some scenarios for the route.

Hi there. Just to let you know the link to gamefront is not working anymore. Are they uploaded anywhere else?

Hi, glad you found it and are enjoying it:steamhappy:

Excellent back dating and upgrading. I only found this on Saturday, my one observation is the platforms with the yellow safety line are not period correct sorry. I joined BR WR London Division in the 1960's as a mechanical apprentice, starting at the BR Apprentice Training School Swindon. So i am more than pleased to see your terrific modding of an old route in TSC.

Magnificent job, heardturkey! I used to take the branch train from High Wycombe to Maidenhead to see Kings, Castles, Halls, etc. (Many more went through Maidenhead than High Wycombe). Was it really 60 years ago?

Hi, Thanks. Glad you're enjoying it.

Thanks @ Not.Silent. I'll keep an eye out for them.

aah nice to see you here on this good route @Not.Silent
Not.Silent 24. sep. 2022 kl. 16:25
Well done heardturkey. I will be publishing my first scenario on your route in the next day or two.
Thanks for all your hard work you have put into this route. It is appreciated. I look forward to creating more 'steam' scenarios on it in the future, near Paddington itself. Cheers.

Glad you're enjoying it.

I've just had a run along the line and I'm very impressed with your work. It's great to have a 60's steam and diesel mainline in the simulator.

Hi. just tried now and no luck. Weird thing is I accidentally went to the Publish route page and nothing was greyed out which suggests i could have updated it again. I even did the nuclear option earlier today of deleting the route and doing a file verification. I've put in a ticket to DTG though not holding my breath.

Have you tried recently? They should be letting you upload by now.
heardturkey  [ophavsmand] 4. sep. 2022 kl. 0:55
Thanks tonix. The route has been made final so hopefully some scenarios will get uploaded. I have a few ready to go but at the moment they give a message that the route is not made final. Hopefully its Steam not caught up yet.
tonix 3. sep. 2022 kl. 15:45
this route works well & looks good.
also have played the first 2 from your szenarios:
very nice & interesting AI, all works fine.
hope your project comes to a good end + some people makes szenarios for this interesting route.
thank you

Sending you a friend request. I have a rather interesting picture to show you here.
Cyclone 1. sep. 2022 kl. 10:07
On second look, that appears to be a brake van. Might have one in Falmouth or Riviera I can use...
Cyclone 1. sep. 2022 kl. 10:05
Gotcha. Presuming you replaced the loose consist ones with an 08, as well. I see three as loose consists, and one is the Class 35 one I plan to run. :steamhappy:
heardturkey  [ophavsmand] 1. sep. 2022 kl. 9:03
Hi Cyclone. The Class 08. Its a short parcels being dragged over the OOC flyover into the sidings.
Cyclone 1. sep. 2022 kl. 6:58
Got a question about a swap. What did you replace the 20 with in Paddington to Hayes Local? That's the 101 scenario, the only one to use that as a service. That said, I found it loose in at least Coal Empties to Reading, one of the set I plan to feature this week if possible along with the 42 and, possibly, the Pannier, which I can parlay into a Falmouth trip later.
Cyclone 1. sep. 2022 kl. 6:09
Weardale uses an 08? Huh, forgot about that. The 101 out of Weardale I should have picked up on. :steamhappy: That said, the required set listed the separate 101 as the requirement, so perhaps it got pulled later for the Weardale one.
heardturkey  [ophavsmand] 1. sep. 2022 kl. 4:32
Just to add about stock, I've taken out quite a bit using locoswap so any workshop scenarios won't look as bad:
Class 20, 14xx, Class 105, Class 111, Marketplace mineral and coal wagons, and the JT Manor have all gone. The Class 101 and Class 08 come out of the Weardale route (needed for the route anyway)
Cyclone 1. sep. 2022 kl. 1:16
I forgot to add, some MatrixTrains stock is needed as well, plus several other packs. Look up 448201 and 448202 (Hawksworth coaches) and 256533 to 256535 (Coal, Mineral, and Van packs), all from the TS Marketplace. Most are likely half price during discount periods, so that helps the cost. VW stuff tends to not go above 50% off. I have not looked into the Manor in that research as of yet. Castle Class gets a good discount too, being from DTG directly, as with the Western Hydraulics Pack. Finally, the VW 14xx loco appears in the lists, but it doesn't have any AI services, so it might be nothing more than static stock. This could mean shunting one into place somewhere, mind, as a task.
Cyclone 1. sep. 2022 kl. 1:10
From my review of those ten scenarios, I can confirm a variety of stock used on the scenarios, too. The Grange and Modified Hall (from the Riviera 50s requirement), Class 35 and Class 42 (Western Hydraulics), Castle Class (DTG), GWR 4500 and GWR County (VW's Small Prairies and 'County' packs), Class 101 (the current one, not the old model), Pannier (Falmouth), and Class 08 (I think in green?) are used as player locos. You also find the GWR Manor (Just Trains) and VW's Large Prairies used as AI, and the latter gets used a bit in the Workshop as well; look up Memories of Metroland from Highball Simulation (20 scenarios all feature it on the LTHC). The downside is most are requirements for every scenario as they may appear on loose consists when not functioning as AI.
heardturkey  [ophavsmand] 31. aug. 2022 kl. 23:55
Hi Tonix.
It's not final yet. Not enough subscribers + when making a few other scenarios I found some small problems from the original route. i.e it was impossible to run an ai from the Windsor Branch through Slough and onto the mainline to Paddington so I had to change the track properties to bi directional. Also the route needed a few more Destination markers. I will update before it goes final.
The scenarios are complete. There is plenty of ai and the sidings are filled as much as possible without getting ooms.
tonix 31. aug. 2022 kl. 14:53
i'm interest in good indepentend routes. but two requests before:
is this the FINAL version?
do your 10 szenarios have AI (running & on sidings)?
thanks in advance.
Cyclone 30. aug. 2022 kl. 10:30
No worries, I write essays myself at times. :LOL

I think the VW locos are different in the non-Steam versions, like the JT ones. I would have to check with someone who owns them, but reskins exist for each version as different entries at RWA.

I like that ten different locos are used for the ten scenarios as the player. Nice touch. A bit sad that the 52 wasn't utilized in one instance as I've driven that as well. Might try to focus on the 35, 42, and 101 when I run scenarios (Steam can come later as I still have to play Riviera 50s, which I do own), but have to check my missing assets on the three.
heardturkey  [ophavsmand] 30. aug. 2022 kl. 0:01
Hi Cyclone, Thanks for the comments. Because it was a scenario pack, the DLC I listed relates to all of the scenarios. i.e. If you've got these DLC, all of the scenarios can be run. If I can put them on the Workshop, they would be single scenarios so then the DLC list would be smaller.(or I could make it smaller). The GWR Prairies, 14xx and the County are Victory locos but I got them off steam and sit in the VictoryWorks assets folder. Hopefully the locos bought directly from Victory would go in without a problem.
Re the naming of scenarios: When I started making the scenarios I had limited information on service numbers but I've discovered a working timetable from 1963 for Passenger and Freight so that can be sorted in a fairly realistic way.
Sorry for the essay:steamhappy:
Cyclone 29. aug. 2022 kl. 23:10
One thing I might suggest for the scenarios when you bring them to the Workshop: see if you can name each service something describing what the service is. "1X00 London to Bristol" for instance represents a service on the line, or even something like "0700 London to Bristol". Would help with storyline (and in general from an enjoyment perspective) when I play the scenarios to know what each train would normally be. :steamhappy:
Cyclone 29. aug. 2022 kl. 23:06
Only thing I'm noticing is that the requirements for scenarios are huge. Might be nice to have simpler options so people don't have to have so many DLC for one scenario. I still haven't run the scenarios through LocoSwap to check more minutely, but I noticed some VW locos in there, several different DLC at once, plus Western Hydraulics and others. I should hopefully have everything for the route, but the scenario requirements might make playing the scenarios a bit more difficult. Still got four to analyze before looking at the group in LocoSwap.

I did see the 35 was the player loco for one scenario. I'm going to try to focus on that and others from the Hydraulics pack since I videoed that DLC already..Will stick with the US route I'm planning for now unless I confirm I can do some of these by Friday. I have a week to work on three weeks of stuff, and the US route is two of those. :steamhappy:
heardturkey  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2022 kl. 12:23
Hi, Thanks. That's the reason I used only Steam stuff for the activities uploaded. Easy to put on the workshop if the votes come.
Cyclone 29. aug. 2022 kl. 11:12
All right. Colour me interested. I may give the route a few videos if I have the stock for enough scenarios (I certainly have the route assets).

Once you have the votes to mark this as final, perhaps see if you can post the scenarios on here in the Workshop as well. :steamhappy:
