You can still disable unwanted game content of various types, and texture sharing may still help for default assets.

If I'm barely using any non-DLC asset mods... I don't really have much use for this mod, do I?

@G1NT This mod is no different from other mods. When you use any mod, achievements are disabled by default. Use the Game Anarchy mod to re-enable them.

Can i get achievements with this mod?

Yes, indeed - I checked that the mod .dll file is present in the right folder and double-checked the Content Manager in the game

@algernon I seem to have the same issue as @ARW. I tried resubscribing to the mod and creating a new playset in Skyve with only Loading Screen mod active. Nonetheless, it does not seem to work.

@ARW That would be something specific at your end. First thing to check is if you've been a victim of the Steam bug where it randomly deletes mods even when you're still subscribed - is the mod actually still there? Try unsubscribing and resubscribing, or use Skyve.

This doesn't appear to be working for me on the loading screen anymore, its returned to the basic version. No one else seems to be commenting the same though.. ?

@steppingfire It certainly was a puzzler - glad you got it sorted! If you haven't already, it might be worth running some diagnostics on your computer, especially on the hard drive. Hopefully everything's fine, but random issues like that can sometimes be caused by hardware issues.

So after exhaustive testing I can confirm the mod is now working as expected. I don't know what was causing the original issue, I fiddled with some settings on my computer and now the exact same playset works fine. Sorry for the headache

@steppingfire I've tested with those assets that are failing for you, and I have no problems whatsoever loading them here (and just to be sure, I got somebody else to test and confirm) - so it looks like something very specific with your setup.

I can see from your log that there's a mod interfering with the loading process and causing errors, but not which one specifically, so there might be a bit of trial-and-error in locating it. To start with, if you remove Intersection Marking Tool, does that change anything?

Removing adaptive networks mod fixed the assertion failed error but now CSUR is broken, which is weird because adaptive networks isn't a dependency for CSUR and again without LSM I can use either or both without issue. The other issue remains: buildings that definitely work fine without LSM fail to load with LSM. The expected behavior is: a handful of broken assets might fail to load, a larger number of dependencies show as missing. But currently LSM doesn't show anything missing, just shows a bunch of objects failed. A good example is BeijingInnerWall_GateRampLeft. Works without LSM, doesn't with LSM

@steppingfire Okay, something bizarre happened there, that logfile was merged with a webpage... but I think I've managed to decode the key parts. The mod throwing the assertion is 'Adaptive Roads Manager'; if you remove that, can you confirm that the issue goes away?

Yes I verified the game files, the log is from a completely clean setup, absolutely no custom assets local or workshop with only harmony and LSM. Assertion failed occurs when I use my normal playset which works without LSM, but doesn't work when I use LSM

@steppingfire I can't see the assertion failed anywhere in that log - just to clarify, you are getting the error when loading with just this minimal setup (no custom assets, just Harmony and LSM)? Have you also verified your game files?

After I tried LSM with a playset that works without LSM, I continued to get errors and got an Assertion Failed error, which appear to prevent me from placing any roads or buildings. I don't know if this is LSM but I don't get it with LSM uninstalled and the exact same playset.

@steppingfire Do you have a collection of custom road assets 'HK' (e.g. HK 4L Tram, New HK 1L One Way, and a lot of similar roads)? They appear to be at issue. Can you try without them all and see if the issue persists?

Here's the log, interestingly it said 1 item failed even though I unsubscribed from everything save LSM and Harmony. I also verified the game files before hand

@steppingfire Verify your game files with Steam, and make sure that you have no disabled mods (never just disable mods, always unsubscribe or use Skyve to exclude them). Then try again on an empty city with just this mod and Harmony installed, and share your output log .

I'm encountering a severe issue with this mod where it's failing to load hundreds of assets and throwing errors for other mods. When I disable this mod both the assets and mods work fine without issue, this only happened after the latest update to CS1

Remember, everyone : if Steam is being difficult (again...) and not downloading the update for you, and simply unsubscribing/resubscribing doesn't work, then other things that can help are:
- Unsubscribe, restart your Steam client and/or computer, resubscribe
- Verifying your local game files with Steam (this can force re-downloads)
- Using Skyve to force a download
- Changing your Steam download region to something different and then back to what it was

Same problem as everyone else, fixed it for now by disabling the mod. Thank you for making it in the first place, it's been awesome.

the game says there was error loading the dll file of this mod, unsubbing and subbing back didn't work

Found a solution: unsub then subscribe to the mod again and it should work
