Man I haven't played this game singleplayer since 2018 but I saw your video on this and it reminded me of how I used to build puzzles in my spare time when I was 12 before I eventually went on to develop other games. This was a super fun puzzle to solve! When I finally figured out the path forward to take I audibly yelled out, "YES!". Extremely simple and satisfying, I'm compelled to see what custom content I've missed out on over the years.

Maybe I'm just not a fan of your specific style, but that really didn't feel like a "1.5/10". had to look up a walkthough video eventually…

A boostrapping map by Mike!? What!? That's the kind of puzzle I need to ease me back into Portal, nice ;)

I hit the comments to make sure I'm not a complete idiot, and thankfully it appears I'm not. Now I can skip in good conscience (because life is short) but I do so with much respect.

A surprise solve! - I ran at the panel hoping I could pop through and I did to an open exit! Thank you for creating

i feel so dumb i cant figure it out. But ill keep working on it!

Im so dumb, i managed to softlock myself twice before realising you can shoot a laser through the glass

Great job!

1) Get to the cube
2) Place it near the wall so that it activates the relay
3) Go back and touch the cube through the portal
4) You're softlocked

Just watched the video, I'll say this map was a great demo, the solution took me way too long but I enjoyed it! You are a great map maker and youtuber

I put the cube on the boot and then strapped it until the door opened.

nice little puzzle also i managed to trap myself in the best and most hilarious way ever.
i got the cube stuck on a portal surface it zipped across the room and hit the laser and destroyed the bootstrap XD

Ive always wondered how do you make levels like this? Is there a mod or other version of the editor that you used to make this?

Cool puzzle. I like how you were able to make the bootstrapping work to both the player's advantage and disadvantage at different points of the puzzle , and with such a minimal setup!
