RBM is trash just like this mod go back to the drawing board fellas

putting RBM on this genuinely made it unplayable, you can make it compatible without forcing us to use it

well it was a wonderful mod and i loved it and so did others but RBM ruins it and this mod nolonger works so please fix it and update to v1.2.12 Because it sucks now

What a waste of time this mod is. RMB completly destroyed it. Like... who the f though it would be fun to deal 1-2 damage in tournaments. Everyone. LITERALLY EVERYONE deals little to no damage there and obviously NPCs have an easier time, because they just have more HP. There is literally 0 chance of winning if city is full of named heroes.

And no. Disabing the mod in the options does nothing.

I love this mod and my initial issues with it were due to the Realistic Battle Mod. However you can just turn that off - there's an option in RBM on the main menu (before you start a campaign/load a save or whatever).

This mod is 9/10 and by far, the best Total Conversion mod I've tried (I've basically tried them all). The only issues I've experienced so far are some caravans walking on water and stuff when you try to chase them, likewise with other parties. They're not quite obeying the laws of physics.

what other mods do yall recommend? cause RBM BS is ruining it for me. ive tried for 12 hours im good. i cant stand the whole 1 or 2 damage in arenas and shit now. this use to be a great mod.

una mod che quando era nella versione 1.1.4 / 1.1.6 era bella da giocare è stata rovinata quando è passata alla ( RBM ) poichè ora le armi Romane sia quelle corpo a corpo che quelle da lancio fanno dai 6 ai 9 danni. quando prima erano bilanciate. se il creatore della mod cambiasse questi numeri risolverebbe i problemi di tutti.

The RBM is totaly fucked, Pila is like throwing vet sock, any ranged weapon is laughable to use and mellee combat is all about who breaks the shield first. 25 thrust damage with Gladius to unarmored target?
This mod was great I enjoyed it, coming to it after the RBM update was totaly throw off.
All I can say is fuck you for ruining it.

This could have been the best mod for this game if you didn't force people to use RBM... All you had to do was make an RBM patch for it and you would have been champs. Instead this mod be booty cheeks... Only because of RBM though, it's amazing otherwise.

Get rid of RBM.

UNPLAYABLE , due to RBM . Mod is broken with broken ridiculous stats : spear 45 dmg, javelin 544 dmg , bow+arrrow= 220 dmg , 1H sword - 12 cut dmg , 2H sword 16, 21 whatever . If you wanna use anything with cut dmg like swords axes or blunt , you already lost . Your heroes need 50 years to learn skills . Rubish

This mod used to be No 1 mod , but now is unplayable due to RBM . Very sad

A fantastic mod, unfortunately completely destroyed by the ridiculous must-have RBM-mod.

How does the regional auxilaries system work? I notice there's mini trees for a bunch of regional Roman units, but I dunno how to recruit them

*TO EVERYONE HAVING ISSUES WITH THE DAMAGE OUTPUT FROM RBM*
Download the damage modifiers mod - yes it works perfectly alongside every other mod. You can adjust the damage taken and received for all npcs, heroes and your own character. You can format it however you like to be as powerful/weak as you desire.
For me I like my character to do 1.75x damage compared to rbms 1x
You do around 80 damage with the Gladius then if you hit critical points on your enemy, but again you can adjust it however you like to what suits you.
Best way to find out what you like the damage to be: Go to a city with a tournament, save just before you enter and change the damage to whatever you want on the arena section of the damage modifiers, then see how much damage you do. You can reload and adjust accordingly until you find your sweet spot. Again mine is 1.75x. You can then input those modifiers into the battle section of damage modifiers and you’re set then.
