Map is terrible, the bots just stay in the way and don’t help at all, take them out

The concept was good, the execution wasn't great.

Managed to finally beat the Easter Egg and the best advice I can give is to not use map_restart nor fast_restart, as both seem to glitch the map.

As for the EE, it's guided, so it shouldn't be that hard to figure out the steps. The only step that requires a specific weapon besides the cube step is the Boomer's Milk.

In my first playthrough I got instantly stuck on jugg, so don't jump there if you haven't bought the door for it yet.

Having played it and giving the bots a chance in a 2 player game, they are absolutely miserable to play with. They regularly get stuck, struggle to revive, struggle to obtain more ammo, regularly body block other players, and occasionally get an entire horde stuck on the bot due to their massively increased HP.

Also, i got a bug report: If someone triggers the Xen portal while the bubblegum teleport is happening it'll teleport everyone back to either Xen or the Passing area, softlocking the map. Might be worth tying the teleport to talking to Richthofen instead, or making the gumball teleport renewable.

Part 2 to my previous comment: I even got a bug where instakill wouldn't insta kill the zombies, I think it might have to do with Zombshell because I did have that perk equipped. I think if you guys choose to iron out certain aspects of this creation, you have potential to get a really phenomenal map because I love a lot of the story and references explored here. I do sympathize that this was for a map contest so you were under serious time crunches, but I encourage you guys to keep it up.

I love the story of this map and as a classic Valve fan, I love all the references to their games. Storywise, you guys did very good. Gameplay however; this map needs a lot more time in the oven. The bot system in my personal opinion just does not translate well into a game like COD Zombies. I get what you were trying to do with L4D2, but they tend to get stuck everywhere, they can bodyblock you in corners and they often hurt you more than help. I really think it would've benefited you guys to lean more towards the classic COD Zombies gameplay we're all familiar with. I also think this map is incredibly buggy at times, with easter egg steps, zombie spawns.

This could be one of the most fun and interesting maps I've played, fantastic and one of the top on the workshop..... but dear god the bots man.

-You can't turn them off, they are mandatory
-They can and will body block you into a corner
-Their gunshots and grenades, which are endless- are SUPER LOUD. Deafeningly so.

Honestly, the body blocking is rarely that big of an issue, and hey I am fine with not turning them off though it would be nice later; and the odd bugs I mean it was made in 30 days of course it has them- but man, before ANYTHING else, please, turn down their gun volume and have them slow down on the nades.

In it's current state, the map is more of a headache generator than anything else- which is a shame because it IS a great map if the bots were fixed up.

This map is really cool but rough around the edges. I don't mind the bots as along as the collision is turned off. being cornered by bots happens way too often. There is a softlock right at the beginning if you fall into the Jugg alley before buying a barrier. I'm pretty sure I broke chapter 2 because I could NOT figure out how to finish it. on my first Xen teleport, I shot the crystals and the "ball" in the green mist but didnt see it drop so I just teleported out. I got the voiceline asking if i found it so i went back and saw it sitting next to pack a punch and picked it up. I returned to no new voice line and could not figure out how to deliver the ball to Richtofen. The 2 Fort rift got a giant laugh out of me and madmilk seems so busted for points. The righteous Bison WW seems to leave collision boxes after a zombie vaporizes for half a second so warning for anyone panic using it

some ideas. give us the option to remove the bots, don't have the zombies just blink into existence where we can see it, at least have them coming out of the ground or through windows, and maybe reduce the swing speed a bit? (not sure on that last one.)

also on the topic of peoples complaints about bots. i personally like them but maybe you can make them not have collision so you dont get trapped in areas

absolutely amazing map. other than the bugs which are easy to avoid i enjoyed it beginning to end.

however the lighting can be improved a lot. Its really hard to see anything. Any plans to improve it?

Also theres a lot of cool stuff out of bounds in the PAP area. Will that be used in a future update?

please add an option to turn off the bots. they cause connection int bugs in offline.

one of the best maps i've ever played, BUT :

i'm stuck at chapter 3 and can't figure out where I should use the "cure"
the bots are really annoying
got softlocked twice, one by jugg because of a invisible wall, one by chapter 2 cuz I didn't shoot the crystals

overall very good but needs a patch

While Playing Offline (offline on steam too) I got a connection error?

I've been trying to work on a gmod map for a while. That's been on hold for a while. (Basically it is a mix of 7/11 and War of the Servers) Anyway, this is the best map I've played that relates to any valve game on the workshop.

Interesting map, but very buggy. Zombies get stuck in most places, friendly ai gets stuck in spots and doesn't revive you, ai lost a weapon and played a bugged sfx on a loop, quest seems bugged, collected 3 zombie parts, no prompt to continue I assume thats bugged?

NOTE: There’s currently a soft lock in the quest if you do the wrong thing. To ensure quest completion : on first trip to pack a punch, destroy the glowing crystals with any weapon. if not done on the first trip it can cause a glitch which can soft lock.
