27lettuce, thanks! In case you were wondering, the companion cube does survive. It just drops down on to an angled panel, which opens on to a button. I wasn't mean enough to destroy it... yet. Maybe I'll have it re-appear in the next test chamber!

THAT WAS AWESOME! I was not expecting the part with going towards the light and then those turrets, that REALLY surprised me! It was awesome! I hope you add more stuff like that! My companion cube tho ;_;

Redino, thanks for commenting, I won't be making the tests harder on this map becasue it's only a proof-of-concept. The later maps that use multiple test chambers will be harder.

Chelliste, thanks for the compliments, however, I didn't actually use Hammer for this map (although the rest of my maps do use it). Instead, I used BEE2 for the textures and the doors etc.

Congrats on learning the Hammer editor, I enjoy that environment. Now just need to incorporate more advanced tests. These are more an introduction for newcomers and presumably we have all played through Portal 2. Like I said, though, this environment is fun to be part of.

The door is cool, but make the tests more complex.
