Portal 1 doesn't have faith plates silly, and not lasers too, just unstationary scaffolds, and pellet emitters and catchers. Remember, the pellet emitter permanently disables after a pellet catcher receives it's pellet. You can do that too.

everytime I try and load any of your levels it says your request for this chamber failed or something went wrong during download

original BEEMOD didn't package the pellets and catchers with the chamber when it was published, i.e. people clientside would get big error signs instead of those parts and unsolvable tests. now, however, i think they do, but the lasers are a nice contrast of Portal 2 within the classic puzzles, and i've grown attatched to them

In the slinging room I got the solution right but when I flew across the room I still missed the area with the cube (just) and died on the floor, having to go right back to the beginning. Shouldn't happen.

Ah, yeah, things getting stuck in other things... -_-; In my most recent map that I did (Llama), I've got flippy walls that spin around on button presses... If you have something right infront of them, like a cube or player, than the person/cube gets stuck! Sometimes if you're lucky, the wall'll force the object out, but otherwise...

i do hope valve fixes that problem soon, it's come up on a couple other chambers i'm working on. and when testing my chamber 17 i accidentally got the companion cube stuck in the incinerator door that way lol

c. peter the floor is portalable in the first game, the exit door is at the very top of the room just like it was in the first one, the secret room won't fit in the editor, the pedestal button and panel originally wouldn't fit, but i've edited the chamber's shape since so i'll certainly see if i can put it in (thanks for reminding me :D), you don't have to use mass and velocity to get to the room with the door, you can just portal across.

Un-portalize the floor by the exit door, lower the exit door, add a secret room by the first place you fall onto, create a pedestal button and a angeled platfrom in the entrance to the turret room, make it so you don't have to use mass and velocity to get to the room with the door you open up after you complete the turret room.

i'll change the button with the next update but if i make the platforms not move, it makes it even easier to get to the cube with them, so i'll leave them the way they are

I had great fun doing the turret room with all the turrets still there :D Few things I'm not sure if intentional:

1. You can jump and hit the button to open the door to the laser receptacle in the turret room.
2. You can jump from a wall portal to one of the platforms with the turrets near the other end of the room, and because the platforms go down when you're on them and up when you're not, they boost your jump. So you can just jump to the cube from them.

Part of me says that I shouldn't give this a good score since it's not original. However the vast majority of me truely enjoyed this nostalgic remake and says I should give it top marks anyway. Have a thumbs-up!

Great remake, but I did find an exploit that lets you skip the turret room altogheter. The wall that goes down with the button. you can shoot a portal between the two wall sections and get a portal in the "piller" room.

Nice work, however It doesn't seem as though it did as well as the other remakes you've done mainly because the chamber wasn't to scale. (I know it's not your fault it the editor's)
and without all that wall detail in there (which I know can't be done in the editor) it doesn't feel right, ya know? I'm sorry maybe I'm being such a critic because it's my favorite chamber from the original, but nonetheless thumbs up from me. :)
