This level is based on Mari0 Portal fanmade game. This is easy because the first level is just like it. If you don't know Mari0, you can download here:

Demo files are "ingame records", that means that if you open the .dem file with the game it will play the level automatically, reproducing the exact movements and actions you did while recording ^^

I don't understand the last bit of this room. Is it supposed to be as easy as sending a portal through the lasers to the exit?
