@Will I can second that
WillB  [autor] 19 ian. 2016 la 2:11
There are a lot of different options available now. I'm just now returning to Skyrim after a long break. I'm trying out Relighting Skyrim in the current playthrough and it seems pretty good for the lights. Haven't seen striping indoors at all, only outdoors from the sun.
ciblue 18 ian. 2016 la 19:46
The Realistic Lighting overhaul doesn't really do much with shadow striping; it's still pretty gnarly & really bad when using a torch in caves/dungeons.
TheOnlyAlbinoLeft 25 iul. 2015 la 8:36
Had to unsubscribe. Couldn't enter the breezehome without the game crashing.
default_player 1 aug. 2013 la 14:23
I hope this works because nothing has before
DHHH 27 iul. 2013 la 21:06
I applied this mod, as I install it?
WillB  [autor] 2 mart. 2013 la 17:45
Haha well, yes, you'll definitely want to stop using it if you take my suggestion on RLO, since it does the same thing.
jjb-54 2 mart. 2013 la 16:46
Logic 101 - A little hard to continue when the Author admits he is not using and even suggests another mod .... Just saying ....
WillB  [autor] 2 mart. 2013 la 12:41
If it works for you, feel free to continue to use it. Nothing is changing for you, it just won't be updated anymore. However, I really suggest using Realistic Lighting Overhaul. It integrates shadow striping fixes, including many more locations, as well as tweaking several other aspects of the lights to provide a more natural environment.

When I entered Breezehome I was shocked to find Lydia had been cooking that dreaded herring bone soup again while I was out fighting dragons. It appears to have spread all over the kitchen.Saddened to see the fix has been Discontinued.Always enjoyed your work..
jjb-54 27 febr. 2013 la 16:29
Okay - You might put that you've dropped this in the HEADER so people know this is no longer supported .... some might ask -

R U willing to sign it over so someone else can have a go at it?

Thanks for letting us know this much, I am doing some house cleaning and now know to 'clean this out' ... I did enjoy your work.
Shanodin 23 febr. 2013 la 0:22
I've had this and loved it for ages, but since getting Dragonborn it seems to have stopped working :(
monkey9 17 febr. 2013 la 5:07

Caused Crash at Bleak Falls.
Althura 11 dec. 2012 la 5:20
I would like to report the bug shadow stripes in the: mound the blanket of fire, descended the wooden stairs having just entered the dungeon in front of a Draugr, thanks.
UncleWarBot 27 nov. 2012 la 11:18
@ those saying it crashes, It never did for me. If you just purchased Hearthfire, that is the reason. Hearthfire doesn't play well with a lot of mods. Fix it by placing Hearthfire at the top of your Mod Load order in Data Files.
UncleWarBot 27 nov. 2012 la 11:16
Love this mod. @Pinkberry, Think of Shadow Strippling like someone took a nice shadow of you standing next to a fire and cut the shadow into strips and had a kid put the shadow back together. Looks awful. Breezehome fire place does this and you see nasty black lines all over the walls.
fukyouimdrunk 23 nov. 2012 la 14:37
is it indecent to have a naked shadow?
ReefaZilla 18 nov. 2012 la 0:07
what is shadow striping?
Neowyrm 16 nov. 2012 la 15:51
The White Phial has terrible striping in the front lobby.
JKalenad 8 oct. 2012 la 15:25
Looks like Knifepoint Mine also has the shadow striping problem, particularly in the room with the dead Imperial prisoner.
ToastyBreadMan 7 oct. 2012 la 18:58
Hey this crashed my game consistantly at Bleak Falls Barrow. Just maby a small thing to fix. There also may be more places it crashes too. Ill keep looking. Anway Great mod loving it aside from the crashes.
SinDebauchery 16 sept. 2012 la 8:47
Definitely breaks CBBE Cruvy =(
SuperChill 1 sept. 2012 la 2:44
This breaks CBBE Cruvy. I removed this mod only and CBBE works fine. It causes a shadow on the entire skin from the neck down. It is a shadow issue simply because some parts became normal depending on the lighting applied.

Hope you can figure out how to fix that.
Forbes 29 aug. 2012 la 12:32
Fix these crashing issues and I will subscribe. Cheers
Z0mb:e 23 aug. 2012 la 21:48
@Xalithium [CHL]
Actually, since installing this mod, Skyrim has crashed or frozen in multiple locations for me (Riften, Whiterun, Breezehome, Labyrinthian, Wilds, etc.). That said, I did also install the Project Reality weather thingy and the fireplace/chopping block fix simultaneously, so I can't say it was this mod conclusively.
Toasty94 19 aug. 2012 la 6:59
Great mod! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehbTIwE94cA A video demonstrating it for anybody interested!
Freely 7 aug. 2012 la 4:21
This also is incompatable with any breezehome mod, no matter where the load file goes.

If this mods esp goes lower than a breezehome mod the home mod is mixed with this. Furniture all over and walls apear where there shouldn't be. But excellent shadows and lighting.

If you put the esp above a breezehome mod you get very glitchy light all over skyrim based on camera direction.
H_84 4 aug. 2012 la 18:02
this mod does not fix shadow striping on rocks and terrain in many places
Xalithium [CHL] 26 iul. 2012 la 1:07
Your Fix causes a crash in Bleak Falls Temple. Please review it.
Thank You!
DJJoeJoe 19 iul. 2012 la 9:03
@SirViP The mod still works, no need to update just for the sake of updating it...
Bryanonymous 16 iul. 2012 la 2:08

voltorious 7 iul. 2012 la 1:29
Fletch (the Arrow shop in Solitude) has slight striping, so maybe just something to look into, thanks for the great work!
TheOneTrueVlad 30 iun. 2012 la 9:06
What is the name of the esp file with this? Downloaded a ton of mods and can't ID half of them because the file names are unrelated to the name of the MOD. I need to add them slowly to check for conflicts etc, thanks
SquiddyDude 22 iun. 2012 la 12:19
do it effect preformance?
Agriphal Albion 6 iun. 2012 la 15:20
I liked your mod so much I added it to my permanent collection; http://cs2bus.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=72755638 ...to help spread the word of your good work.
GamerVer05 29 mai 2012 la 18:09
Thanks for the great mod!
Voric 16 mai 2012 la 21:03
There is large amount of shadow striping on the upper mountain face next to the front doors of High Hrothgar (if you are facing the front doors, the mountain would be immediately to your right.) I never noticed it before but I guess I had never visited High Hrothgar during the day! Thanks for this MOD, by the way. It's really awesome.
Purplecoin 14 mai 2012 la 23:52

Skuly 16 apr. 2012 la 11:11
Hi guys, I installed this mod hoping to fix the horrible shadow striping issues all around Whiterun, but was disappointed to find it did nothing, nothing at all, shadows look exactly the same as before, inside and outside. Can anyone explain what the problem might be? Do I need to start a clean save? Thank you in advance :D
Morticia 15 apr. 2012 la 0:10
Kodlak's old room still haves it, just wanna let you know
Emar af Thay 31 mart. 2012 la 12:06
I assume this mod fixes the problem illustrated here: http://cs2bus.com/id/ermath/screenshot/540671188287700531/?tab=public
(If not, I apologize the confusion.)
It would seem that these window light sources cause it: http://cs2bus.com/id/ermath/screenshot/540671188288453266?tab=public
This is in "The White Phial".
