I've got a map of my own I'm trying to get out there a bit, try it and leave a comment :)
Strategy 4: Knockoff
Not letting the player get helplessly trapped is good map design 101. It's not exclusive to Portal or Portal 2 and has nothing to do with the dialogue.
Also, i just havn't added the "you trapped yourself" dialogs yet :/
The lights on the walls and on the floor look misplaced and the cube-only-buttons don't fit in there either.
Also I expected some redesign of the maps in terms of gameplay and difficulty you know, "your own spin". But so far they play exactly like the original, except for the end of part 3, where you used to be able to skip getting the second cube by just standing on the button yourself. I miss that.
Also, you have to waaaaaait. Wait for the energy spheres (why not lasers?) wait for the platforms, wait for GLaDOS to finish her sentences...
Sorry for being so negative, but you can do much better.
