OK. Bugs: Sometimes if the timing and angle is just right, the ball will get stuck to the flipper, then... ZING!! off it goes. Also I don't know if this is a bug, but when I won, the lights just kept on flashing and alarms just kept on going.

pretty good map! i lke a lot of this though some parts i dont understand. Dont know how you did all the cool stuff but it got kinda boring cuz you barely did anything. you should be able to go in the machine. 8/10

@nielshenrik this is an already known bug that was reported in the comments already. This happens because of the formulae used to create the score system. The number is subtracted then added to create a variable. Then, when you have 1 life left and pushes the coin switch, the system silently subtracts one from the "one life" pool, then you get zero lives during a few milisseconds. After adding the life back, this doesnt prevent the trigger of the "lost" status. Thats why the system wrongly recognizes this particular situation as a loss.

i found a little bug. when i have 1 live left and i need to press a button for a new ball, it says: "GLAdOS has stored enough enegi" then it kills me and i have still 1 lives left.

That invisible wall at the bottom left one was a dirty trick, wether it was intentional or not. I know it's there, I took a closer look with noclip. Also, nice map :p2chell: One thing I'd like to see is a wheatley version of this, done in the wheatley style of portal 2!

Hi @AdenSword, at the moment I made this chamber, there was no cooperative mode available, I admit I do not know how to work with the mew cooperative mode, it might be geometrically harder than single player mode. But, maybe in a further future I can create a multiplayer version, but it will be probably a simple stuff like one player control one flip and the other player control the other flip.

hey could you make a coop one where one person controlls one side of the ramp that keeps the ball from fizzleing and the other person controlls the other one?

You cant leave whenever you like, because that's part of the fun. If you never was able to exit the room, its because you never won the game. The hardest slot is the bottom left one, you must break the wooden debris to get there, it takes quite a while to break the barricade using the right catapult. If you manage to place the ball down there you probably won the match. After winning, you destroy GlaDOS and the exit door opens. There are 2 endings right now: either you die or you exit the room. If you are dying, you are losing the game, simple like that. If you simply want to restart, press ESC then manually restart the map.

@JazzyWazzy64 I didn't understand exactly what you meant.... whenever you put all balls in the right spots, you CAN exit the map and you destroy GlaDOS. To exit quickly just use the portal behind you and walk for several seconds. When you lose the game, GlaDOS is supposed to destroy you because each ball is a power charge that is unleashed if you fail to inactivate the system.

My 1st score on the first try was 2,169,000! Maybe you SHOULD make it that when you run out of lives, all the balls will reset, not the map. So once you finish a game, you should be able to exit, so once you get all the balls in, GLaDOS will blow up and you'll HAVE to exit. What a long comment this is!

Solution: Don't press the F key. Or was it Q? Just restart PC/Portal/Steam to fix it. It's a annoying thing, I know.

Made it! Defeated! Used 3 balls from the start (found out it was the most efficient way). It took me 3-4 trials and final score was 2000000+

It's strange, maybe since I don't play this game for quite a while (maybe 6 months or even more), I think something got messed up due to some patch by Valve, or something got corrupted due to older files or even older Hammer version. As far as I'm concerned, the map was working fine and you could not look directly at the portals inside the table unles you cheat clipping. Theres a ground portal that can cause some trouble if you look inside. If thats the case, I will replace it by an elevator, I can easily do that using custom codes (the default elevator is way too slow and I tried to avoid anything that could cause boredom in the player). About the old texture, I can replace it in a future version, but its not the priority right now, because Hammer do not handle big textures easily, it's a big suffering to close leaks when you do that.

TDLR: I will check it in a few months, after I finish my Minecraft texture pack.

The button is in the ground. The portals cause MAJOR visual glitches. And seriously, use the new texture! The old one looks strange for some reason, IDK why, it just look strange. I think its flat when its not supposed to be.

@Fluff Cat 20, the big map has a reason to be like that, theres a not finished script that use the lower area of the map, this map is somewhat like in an unfinished state. And I not see exactly where did you find so many bugs to call it "buggy", theres a bug that prevents you from either losing or winning, and another bug regarding minor flaws. Theres no flaw regarding extra portals, unlike a recent update has messed up the things and I am not aware of (I dont edit maps since many months ago)

VYG. Thats Im-Pressing-The-Wrong-Keys-Move-Over-Fingers for BUH. Buggy, the old texture is not nice looking, big spaces freak me out in portal, and you can get more than 4 portals onscreen causing a recursion bug that looks freaky.

TL;DR:
No more than four portals, make it smaller, no old textures.

STL;SDR:
=< 4 portals, small room plz, new textures.

@ForsakenDarkness, thank you for the cumpliments, I hope you enjoyed it. I used Hammer editor to create the map from scratch, it took me about 200 hours of intensive work and polishment, because such complex achievement is vulnerable to bugs here and there, and you fix one thing, other thing gets broken, you know. I have a next version that is FAR more impressive than this one, including an eye candy and funny rewarding ending if you happen to destroy GlaDOS, but due to personal problems regarding health and life issues I stopped the project temporarily. And I have another project that has never seen before, it's a continuation of Portal Pinball lore but in form of an RPG. Stay tuned.
