Died a hundred times. Thank you F6. Like mood3rd said you can quick save at the wrong time and have to restart. I was lucky that when i got stuck at the end i had not saved from the last level. i was able to finish without restarting. Pretty good map. I like to get as many puzzles in as i can. More bang for your buck. Keep it up.

@mood3rd, You can hold things through grating, so if the cube does not go on the button for the exit room then hold it and put it on yourself through the grating. there is a button in the cube tennis room that will drop the cube for you to have a second try in putting it on.

good map
I don't think you can do check points.
you can use quick save & quick load.
but it overwrites your last save.
I quick saved, when I could see exit.
but no cube, had to restart game, to complete.
ahhh
on 2nd attempt, I put a portal above lasser & button.
then other portal on flip panel.
when I droped the cube, the panel came up,
but it traped me, could not move by w.a.s.d. crouch, spacebar or combonations.
also cube did not always stay on button in exit room or the room where you launch it of a faithplate. (did qiucksaves before each attempt)

I found the first level very hard, as I am not skilled in this area.
turrets good .
but level 7, where's my cake ?
your as bad as Glados

Thing is ,I have no idea of how to do check points.

first: the idea of travelling through the level is really nice made and the checkpoints for it aswell, but in my opinion this map is rather huge with a lot of places where you could die. if such a thing would happened, i will really consider it twice if i would restart the map. so if you put aniother chamber like this, dont put so much "death places" in it or try to put quick walkthrough checks in it, so that the player could reach the point where they get stuck quicker..

just my 2cents

I'm making four maps with three different tests in each. The first map (Part 1) is available to play. The levels will be called 'The 12 Days of Portal 2'

Thank you the 10 people who have finally rated this map

This is only a minor edit

I find nothing wrong with level five, but I have edited it so see if that makes a difference
The Mullac  [author] 11 Jun, 2012 @ 2:20pm
I mean First cube

Edit:Level 3: Firts cube no longer Auto Dropped
The Mullac  [author] 11 Jun, 2012 @ 2:03pm
Australiumfish, thanks for the advice, and i'm not sure why you keep getting killed at five, so I'll check it.

I think number three may be better if the dropper wasnt auto-drop first cube.
Also, I kept getting killed at 5 and gave up.

Edited: I have found a bug after level 4 and it has now been fixed. There is no major change to the map. I have removed a timer

I might try and make a map like this, with a bunch of tests in one. I might even edit it in Hammer.

You might like this one. It's kind of the same idea... a number of individual tests squeezed into the same map.

Say if you want each level seperately as a collection or another tower like this.
The Mullac  [author] 10 Jun, 2012 @ 12:47pm
Yes, its finally here, the test that no-one has been waiting for. Well, their loss. Please note that simple does not mean easy. Well, not all the time...
