I'm still hoping to see a video by that guy (Romb?) to see how other people did it.
I don't remember anything about Room 1 that someone might hate, but I liked the whole thing.
Thanks!
The solution here is not as obvious as some of the earlier maps. I like it.
I've got a map of my own I'm trying to get out there a bit, try it and leave a comment :)
Strategy 4: Knockoff
First Room:
Both the player and the cube have to get through the fizzler but not at the same time .
Second Room:
1. Like the puzzle in the first room, the player and the cube needs to get through the fizzler, but not at the same time
2. That grating glass on the portal surface (near the exit) was placed for a specific reason. Think about why the author would place it there.
3. Remember that you can portal WHILE you are floating on the reverse tractor beam .
4. The "clever trick" involves the light bridge itself. It does not involve flinging, momentum, the cube or the tractor beam.
One rule of thumb, though. If a chamber isn't very short or action-based, then NEVER use the death goo. Instead, you should just put a fizzler in the pit to destroy the cube and a piston to elevate back to the surface. While the first room was a well done puzzle, the player should not have to repeat it each time they make a mistake in the second room.
Please implement this suggestion.
Please look at my map! I want to know your opinion :)

One thing though: you should add a button to re-spawn the cube in the second room. I realized what I should've done right after I screwed up, but the first room was too annoying for me to do-over.
Try my latest map!
