Do you have any sort of gpu ? Wallpaper engine is exelent in using a gpu, it has good hardware acceleration. this should give better prefrormance. otherwise for now use the 1080p version http://cs2bus.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=838045767

I have a I5 6500, I am upgrading to a r7 1700X

The 4k version has tazed pc's before, I recomend you swich to the 1080p version. As the 1080p will look just fine on a 1080p monitor. If you have a 4k monitor I expect you to have the specs to run a vid at that qualty too. Otherwise you could upgread your pc, wait a bit till all new benchmarks from AMD are out and then decide on upgreading or not.

I have a i5 6500 and my cpu is running at 55% when all process are off. TaskManager shows wallpaper64 at 50%. How can i fix this?

Well it's a 4k video running at 60fps, I have no idea why you're having problems though. I'm running this video 2 times (on a 1080p screen and an 21:9 1080p screen both at 60fps) And I'm not having any issues.
My specs are a i7 4770k @ 4.5 ghz, and a gtx 970. So I'm asking what is taking up the 84 % usage? Could it be another background proses ? Wallpaper engine is only taking 1-2 % of my cpu, even while in a game.
I could also make a downscaled version for 1080p If you'd like that

Yes it's 60FPS, Make sure WallpaperEngine Is set to allow 60FPS or more
