uhhh so the first chamber seems like everybody got the solution cheated in some way, used an angled laser out of the floor and no light bridge the second chamber was fairly obvious to me except for the fact that the third flings tends to lose all momentum like 95% of the time. Worked a little better if I faced the player downwards to the portal. The turret room afterwards can trap one of the two players because the next coop checkpoint doesn't wait for both players before locking the door and opening a new one. Actually, the coop checkpoint doesn't work at all, meaning if you die in the final chamber, you go right back to start over chamber 2.

Almost broke up, 10/10. But in all seriousness, it was both annoying and great a the same time. I'm not sure we solved it "correctly" but at least we beat it!

Here's how we did puzzle 2 in this map.

Just like the other part, probably not the intended way. Our strategy required extremely tight execution and took a lot of tries to get down.

The most challenging part is the two button timer fling. We were stuck there for a long while... in fact, my other co-op partner and I stumbled on to the solution. It was a joke ay first but then I realized the it was part of the solution lol. The logic puzzles are very good as well... Looking forward to your other puzzles :)

These are nice.. BUT!!! You should have split them into several maps... as we cannot save/checkpoint between maps, this can take too long to finish this part...

Very good chamber, but 3rd room is bugged, if u die there u respawn in 2nd room. Respawn points should be inside 3rd room. :dswilson:

Mind=blown. Don't know why, probably wasn't in the proper mood, or i just lack some brains :) but this one (second room) was the only one we couldn't pass without looking for a solution. Never before i had to do so, i feel so ashamed :[

great set of puzzles. I like how there is room for creativity solving :-) well designed.

Glitch in third chamber where dieing sends you back to second chamber. I guess both can die and redo second chamber.

@residentcomplainer iwe had one person do all the portals while the other person just jumped to start all the timers. The first person follows thru the final portal.

That's an engine-glitch and totally out of my control.

Thanks everyone for getting this far in the mappack and leaving nice feedback! I know that the puzzles are not for everyone since it do require some brain to figure out and I applaud you all that has completed the mappack and not given up along the way!

Definitely the most challenging Portal map I've done so far, and incredibly satisfying when we finished it. Took me and my friend about 90 minutes straight. Looking forward to trying the other maps in the series when our minds have taken a break.

Also, I think we found a bug or an error of some sort. Keep an eye open for it in the comments shortly. Awesome map!

Anyone care to post a video showing how they solved the second chamber? The one with all the long flinging and twin timed buttons on the wall?

Been going mad trying to solve this one - my buddy and I have a general understanding of what the correct sequence of jumps is, but either the timing required is brutal or we're doing something wrong. The only ''solution'' shown on Youtube has most of the jumping cut out and only shows the very end.

How on Earth do you do the room with the laser cube and the bridge? We only found one video and the guys used a turret (which we didn't know where to find?) to angle the box to hit the laser receptor. I feel like this wasn't the intended solution. We spent about 30 minutes trying to solve this room and we give up. Can anyone provide the solution? We could hit the laser but couldn't keep the box in place to do so without one of us holding it.

Amazing maps (the whole series)! Me and my partner in science had so much fun that its really hard to express the satisfaction we got just by entering and examining the chambers. We both appreciate small sized chambers with clever solutions, and at the end of part 3, I couldnt help but say 'that was sexy'.

We were also stuck on the first chamber and came up with the solution similar to fri's. Second chamber was fun and clever. Third was ok, but we made two things that are kind of iffy, but it worked. Again, nice puzzles with big "how did I not see that?!" feelings at the end.

My friend and I just completed this. Took us a while but we finally got it. The hardest room in my opinion was the one before the long fling, there was a few glitches with the cube (it kept fling from my hand and made for a quite hilarious loop) to get it to hit the target. Not sure if it was intended to be solved that way but it worked for us.

This was the hardest co-op map me and my partner have completed, but it is amazing. The third chamber had the "neatest" solution and most gratifying.

I still am unclear on the 'intended' solution for the first room. We tried for an hour or so trying a large amount of very different methods, but the method we settled on did not use the light bride at all, or many other parts of the chamber.

@fri Firstly, all the elements in all maps are needed for the intended solution. I would NEVER add extra stuff just to confuse. In the first chamber the main thing is to get the laser in some way into the reciever, your way is unintended but clever, I don't if i should do anything about it.

The long fling chamber you should clearly see that the main thing about that puzzle is to get BOTH players inside, having a panel in there would make the test way too easy for beeing so late in the pack. The solution for that puzzle is not hard on timer if you do it the correct way around.

Lastly I wanna encourage all to not ever think that the test is gimmicky or broken. All puzzles have very solid solutions that will work everytime if you know what you're doing. Altough I'm gonna add playthroughs of all maps when I have time for it.

And next, the chamber with long flings and two buttons on a wall. I managed to enter the room just before the tile retracted, but my partner couldn't. We repeated it many times and it feels impossible to make it in time. I thought there would be a portalable panel next to the door - so I could make way for my partner - but there wasn't.

The first two maps were awesome, but I disliked this one for aforementioned reasons. We've spend more than two hours on this map trying to figure out the "real" solutions, which wouldn't require "dirty" moves (you can see screenshots I posted on my profile) and improbable timing, but couldn't find them. Could you tell us if we missed something?

Again, we're stuck on another chamber where we don't know if our solution is the intended one. In the room with a redirection cube, laser and light bridge we put one portal on the angled panel (where the laser enters) and the other portal on the opposite side, just a bit higher. One of us held the cube to make the laser hit the receiver, so my partner could enter the small room without losing his portals. Then I used his portal to thrust the cube to the small room. Is that it? Because we haven't used other things found on this chamber, and that's irritating, because that solution was the first one we tried, but decided that was too easy and were looking for something that would look more "official". The tiny room with turret, panels behind a grid - we didn't use any of them.
