Well after about 10 playthroughs on God of War (2018). PS4, PS5 (after patch for 60 fps) Steamdeck and PC. I can certainly recommend this game for anyone who enjoys a rich story and awesome visuals. I don't know what it is about this game but I just keep coming back to play, simply to re-experience the story. If I could erase a game from my memory and replay it for the first time, it would be this game.

I appreciate the cinematic experience but like the combat is a huge let down compared to the old God of War games. The semi open world aspect of the game feels very shoehorned in, this game would have been much better without it just like the previous games.

I'm not that big on the gameplay side and the over-the-shoulder camera, but the story, characters and the world carry it pretty well. Rich and visually pleasing.
