Another abandoned game by this development team. They had to close down their old studio just to rebrand and do the same thing again. No update since last year. Anyone thinking about buying this game please reconsider. It has no future with this team and will never be finished.

For an EA game it was not all that bad. Tolerable gameplay loop. Until they just abandoned the game at the end of 2024 and there is no communication whatsoever incoming. I think it is a scam.

If you've played raft, it is like a mod. Careful - this one is more violent. Mutants and enemies will randomly attack your base. In raft, you could predict when you are likely in danger. In Sunkenland, you must constantly upgrade your armor and weapons in order to keep up. Along with the gathering of food, water and material that you are very familiar with. If you are a casual gamer like me, you might want to try it on easy mode first to get the hang of it. Played easy mode for around 4 hours, then restarted in normal.
