So far the game is nothing short of a masterpiece. Do yourself a favor, buy it and just enjoy the ♥♥♥♥ out of it.

The devs at Sandfall Interactive could pursue a career as profesional chefs with how insanely hard they cooked here. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they came in with a bang and showed they are cappable of making one hell of a game.

Safe to say I'll be looking forward to their future projects.

After finishing the main story and most of the side content, I can say with absolute certainty that this is my GOTY. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 started as a masterpiece and ended as such!

"Over here, stranger."

This remake is a masterpiece! From the suspensful scary beginning to the action-packed craziness in the end. Definitely a GOTY in my book.

To start things of, I like this remake the most of the 3. I'm a huge fan of the more action-like approach. I wasn't very keen on all the puzzles and backtracking in RE2R and RE3R was just a bit short for my taste - but that's just a fact.

I haven't played the original RE4, so I'm gonna talk about the remake as a completely new game (to me).

- Story -
Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City. Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors, tracks the president's kidnapped daughter to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals...

The story is very well paced. Your placed in Leon's shoes as you uncover the truth about what this strange place you're currently on is and what happened here... And of course there's Ashley.

- Characters -

"Where's everyone going? Bingo?"

All characters are very well written. They feel human, showing their emotions - telling jokes, acting frightened, having sincere dialogues between each other. And of course they are many great and badass one-liners!
Ashley and Luis went through a great upgrade from what I've seen from the original. To all those Ada haters, just get over it. Her voice is completely fine.

- Gameplay -

"Gun rhymes with fun for a reason, stranger!"

The gameplay is once again more action packed just like RE3R. Well except there's no slowmotion this time around. Gun play feels good and the best of all is the balance of every single weapon. Capcom managed to hit the nail right on the head. It just feels so good to switch the weapons around and really have fun with them... Yes even the TMP. Even though I'm personally a sucker for the Red9. The only inconvenience I can think of is there is no dodge button, but I get that the game would be too easy with a parry button AND a dodge button. It's just that it sometimes feels weird that running away from enemies is the only "dodge" movement you can do.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is truly one of the best games I've ever played.

Separate Ways

I LOVED playing through this DLC. The way it ties parts of the main story together is just amazing. I already did multiple playthroughs as I really enjoy it. Another great thing about this exceptional remake!

Conclusion

I can't recommend you enough getting these two games. As I said above, they are truly a masterpiece!

A Stunning Action RPG with Fluid Combat and Engaging Customization

I’ve had a blast playing Stellar Blade! The combat is absolutely top-notch - fluid, dynamic, and incredibly satisfying. It really pulls you into the action, and chaining together combos feels so rewarding. The skill customization for Eve is a standout, allowing for tons of variety in playstyles. I loved experimenting with different skills and finding combos that suited my preferences. The combat system really makes this game shine (and of course the outfits).

The world-building is also solid, even though I wish we could've explored it a bit more. What we do see is gorgeous, and I was always excited to discover new areas. The side characters are interesting, but I do wish some of them were fleshed out a bit more. In fact, the Director mentioned that they had to cut quite a bit of content, including more character development for Eve. It’s a shame, as we could’ve seen more of Eve’s personal growth (the Director mentioned things like her first time trying on human clothes or the start of her collection of cans - small moments that would’ve made her character feel even more relatable and nuanced).

One of the highlights of the game is definitely the collectibles you can find scattered throughout the world. From various outfits that Eve can wear (which are both stylish and unlockable after certain milestones) to small trinkets such as earings, there’s a lot to keep you engaged. The outfits in particular are a treat - finding them and customizing Eve’s appearance adds an extra layer of fun and personalization. It's a nice touch that keeps the exploration feeling rewarding and fresh, especially as you progress through the game.

The side missions are where the game loses a bit of steam. Quite a lot of them are just fetch quests or “kill X number of enemies” objectives (don't even get me started on the photo challenges), which can feel repetitive. However, they don’t detract too much from the overall experience, especially when the main game is so engaging. That being said not all of them are designed that way. And some of them even let you explore newly unlocked areas in previously explored locations.

The story is good, though it can be predictable at times. That said, I still found it enjoyable and it kept me invested throughout.

There’s also some replayability built into Stellar Blade. The New Game+ and New Game++ modes unlock after completing the game each time, and they’re necessary to access some of the outfits (mostly recolors) and new skills. It’s great for players who want to dive deeper into the game, unlock everything, and experiment with different builds and gear. The extra playthroughs definitely extend the lifespan of the game and give you more incentive to return once the main story is wrapped up.

All in all, Stellar Blade is a great action RPG with incredible combat and a solid, if sometimes predictable, story. Despite a few underdeveloped side characters and the lost potential in Eve’s deeper development, I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys fast-paced combat and character customization!
