Yep, such reviews definitely remind me why I rather create expensive software for thankful companies instead of wasting my life time to create games, expecially when free. Seems like devs now also getting blamed for selling the sourecode in the asset store, to allow others to create the quality game everyone wants to buy for 20$.

The asset flipped was labeled a "starter kit" for a reason. It wasn't meant to be sold as is - hence all of the negative reviews about lack of design and content.

Btw, most people develop games and sell >their own< assets on the store. Not many devs have reason to develop something they don't use/improve themself. Especially if no one else is buying the asset anyways.
You can't even tell if this game has not been released somewhere else before the asset.
Just saying. In life, understanding helps judgement.

Hm ok, usually this argument works with >>free<< store assets getting sold as >>expensive<< games.
So you would recommend players to buy the 30$ asset instead of the 0.8$ game?

When someone purchases a complete template asset and leaves it mostly unchanged and then attempts to profit off it - I would certainly question what that person actually developed.

Uhm, as a dev myself I'm just wondering how someone is supposed to be a fake dev, if using a 30$ asset from the >unity asset store< for a >unity game<. Why would you pay for the effort of a completely new implementation? What do you think is the unity asset store for?
