The app is decent and fun if you're willing to pay $20 a month for a limited song selection.

Ubisoft removed Rocksmith 2014 Edition from Steam due to expired song licenses, which is understandable since artists need compensation. However, replacing it with a subscription-based game that isn't an improvement is disappointing. They could have kept the original alive, as there's still a vibrant community with mods and custom songs keeping it active.

If you can find Rocksmith 2014 Remastered, you'll have access to a vast library of 75,000 custom songs through community mods. It's frustrating to see this change when they could have simply patched the original or released a new version without the expired licenses. A subscription model for Rocksmith+ would have been acceptable if handled differently.
