The game indeed reminds me of Evony and other oldschool browser games. While the UI is basic and the servers have the occasional crash - the gameplay is very functional, the client is stable, and any bugs are very rare. It's definitely worth a look!

Lives up to its promise of providing raidboss content! I was extremely pleasantly surprised with the solid combat system that felt very much like WoW. The included hotkey customisation is a huge plus. Looking forward to the full game! (Edit: FYI, there is no save yet. It is fairly short, but expect to progress through a few zones if you want to complete it.)

Played during the free weekend and it's a hot mess of confusion and bad characters. Not enjoyable, not even for free.

The cash shop is quite annoying and cringey. What's worse is that these microtransactions are definitely marketed to a younger generation.

Pretty good. Plays like top-down Terraria, great controller support. I'm interested in playing more later!

Even if you never play a jot of multiplayer, this campaign is fantastic and well worth trying. The devs have a fantastic approach to UX that makes other RTS games feel flimsy by comparison. Well worth a try.

Despite the warnings in other reviews, I still gave it a try. I second those talking about fighting the UI and automation rather than the opponent. For me, the first example are the icons which are wildly inconsistent and impossible to decipher. No NATO or Supcom rectangles; they're almost all vague silhouettes or weird piles of crates with gunbarrels.

Formations and Armies are a brave idea, but horrendously poorly executed and not integrated with control groups at all, plus it's hard to tell the count of what you actually have selected because there's very little communication with the user other than selection outlines. It's visually beautiful but the tutorials did not end up very much like the screenshots. Rather, automatic banners for my armies ended up out of place or missing units inside the army.

Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but the UX was pretty bad and apart from novelty, it's hard to justify keeping it rather than just playing another match of Supreme Commander (whose mechanics and interface honestly still hold up well). The graphics advantage of Singularity really doesn't hold up well when the interactive experience is so poor.

I wish I had played this sooner. The opening scene starts with a banger soundtrack and a fascinating magic system, which both lead to an immersion I don't really think the marketing captures. One small downpoint is that the controls are pretty mouse focused - you can't navigate the screen with keyboard/controller buttons. I definitely think this game is worth playing!

I should note that the story comes with some seriously mature and adult themes, which as one of the characters (E.) should show to you, has the potential to affect young people. Use discretion when playing.

Edit 2: Quite short, but the music leaves an impact. Overall, still worth it! Time to go back for the other paths using fastforward.

There are still a few random crashes and it feels like a sloggy grind with an inventory that gets clogged up. It is an interesting premise, but it's not really for me.

I played it a long time ago on Kongregate and still enjoy this even more detailed and refined version!! Worth the money for the careful attention to detail.
