Tricky one.

Played this one some time ago, and replayed today as it was brought up in a discussion. I never realized this was made back in 2012. The community has evolved so much ever since, pushing the boundaries of simple designs with deep solutions. Yet this map doesn't feel dated at all.

This was a very good puzzle back then, and 12 years later that is still true.

This might be your best original yet. (At least that I’ve played. :P)

Only real flaw is that it’s very easy to bhop around glass to the exit. But if you still have the file that’s an easy fix. (Though, it's already fixed in the Hammerized version present in The Best of Gig Vol. 1, so really no point. Not that you would anyway. :P)

Difficulty: 6.25/10
Enjoyed: 8/10

Had to take a break after yesterday -- almost got it, but couldn't see the last step... did it today. Very nice relocations, you do "sort of" the same thing, but in so many different ways. Excellently structured.

Tip for lesser annoyance at executing a particular step (you'll know which when you get there): you can shoot the portal off center. You won't have any issues if you do so. :)

I played this 5y8m ago and gave it a  but, for some strange reason I didn't add it to my favourites, which I have now rectified. Excellent puzzle: intended solution ? Re @Jelleh95's comment "not have all the pieces of the puzzle even though the missing piece was right in front of me the whole time." I'm sorry you got frustrated, but isn't 'having the solution hidden in plain sight' a goal that good puzzle makers aim for?

It's a good map with a great puzzle, but I have some critiques:

I agree with everyone else about the laser collision. Puzzles that require the player to move through portals that are redirecting lasers are very frustrating when laser collision is enabled.

I'd also recommend more effectively communicating the importance of the entrance platform to the player. It's too easy to take for granted without any markings or visual ques to draw the player's attention . I was completely and totally stuck doing the same tired old round trips over and over, and the puzzle didn't start coming together until I read StackSmasher789's hint. Maybe I just suck, but it was very frustrating to not have all the pieces of the puzzle even though the missing piece was right in front of me the whole time. It ultimately made finding the solution a disappointing experience.

I'll still give it a like and a fave, though.

This was very clever. Got stuck for about an hour here until realising starting area is not completely useless. Agree with other suggestions regarding turning laser collision off.
