anybody any idea? internet research wasn't successfull... :(
many thx in advance!!
All of these settings can be changed in-game, so I'm not sure why they're even ini tweaking them. The only 2 unlisted settings which don't appear in-game and might do something are AnimatedGeometry and AntiAliasing. AnimatedGeometry is already set to True by default and I think everyone should leave that alone obviously, probably a setting for low end PCs around 2003. Their AntiAliasing method is likely terrible but I haven't seen if it applies anything. Forcing MSAA does break water rendering, so don't do that with dgVoodoo2.
ShadowLevel doesn't matter if playing with Shadow Buffers, it's only for Shadow Projector mode, so it can be completely ignored for dgVoodoo2.
And as far as I know LightMapsLevel and TextureLevel do nothing.
Do these tweaks actually improve anything?
If anyone was trying to play at a little higher refresh rate ive seen 100 fps works decently well and doesnt mess up the AI pathing from what ive seen. (correct me if im wrong)
You can change the FPS cap by opening dgvoodo.conf with notepad and searching FPSLimit.
I really hope you will continue your work with this. Would also love to see this kind of mod for pandora. Thanks for all your hard effort in preserving these titles. Seriously appreciate it.
