We had to leave them behind. I can't believe we did this! I told them it was a damn bad idea, but they wouldn't listen! Their plan was doomed to fail from the start. The dead chased us all the way to the wharf, and eventually drove us into a death trap, as if they knew we would keep going. They were slowly marching forward, but at the same time they were staying close. Something was driving them to follow us, and that something was the insatiable hunger for human flesh.

By the time we got to the dock, our situation was only getting worse, as no one knew exactly where to look for a boat with a running engine. Someone suggested splitting up to speed up the search. What a terrible idea that was! This mistake proved fatal for many of us. The unrestrained, desperate screams of terror and pain from my fallen comrades still rings in my head. As soon as we found a serviceable boat, we immediately realized that there were not enough seats for everyone and someone would have to be left behind. Our loved ones, friends who remained on the pier, with the last of their strength, held off the onslaught of the living dead, signing their own death sentence, while our boat rapidly vanished into the horizon.

For several hours we simply drifted in the open ocean, without food or fuel, with no hope. Eventually, we got lucky. In the distance, through the darkening fog, we saw a lighthouse. It looks like it was abandoned. The group had the idea to try activating the lights, hoping that the lighthouse's spotlight would attract help. But the closer we got, the more our hope diminished. Hope became despair, especially after something or someone broke through our boat, rendering it useless. To make matters worse, we saw dozens and hundreds of twisted, dead faces peeking out from under the water behind us, all the while continuing to haunt us! And if we don't act quickly, then very soon there will be a feast, having US as the main course...
