"On July 2nd, 1988, the A-Sync Research Facility tested its Low Proximity Magnetic Distortion System for the third time..."




The Backrooms Complex, two maps that cover almost every area from Kane Pixels’ Backrooms Series.




Features:

Gm_br_pitfalls:
- Miniature Threshold Area, complete with the outpost, observation deck, a couple offices, and storage.
- Every area featured in Found Footage 1-3, Static Dead End, Pitfalls, Reunion, Informational Video, Mar_90_Archive.tar and half of Missing Persons.
- Pitfalls room that leads to various locations throughout the map

Gm_br_complex:
- My rendition of the A-Sync Facility, featuring areas from Damage Control, Autopsy Report, Presentation, and Report
- Every area from Informational Video, Static Dead End, Pitfalls, Reunion, Mar_90_Archive.tar and Missing Persons.


This map contains a few secrets...

Extra Features:
- Nextbot navmesh for both maps
- AI Nodes
- Orange dev texture rooms with features you can toggle




Important Notes


While both maps support LDR and HDR, playing with HDR will provide a much more immersive experience.

Both maps contain lots of props and interactivity, as such, they are NOT tailored towards low-end pcs.

If you are certain you have a good PC, but are experiencing lag, you can try:

* Switching over to the x86-64 - Chromium + 64bit binaries branch.
* Disabling addons
* Verify the integrity of gmod's files

The FF3 area is far beyond being optimised as much as the Hammer Editor will allow and if you need you can use the delete tool to remove any unbound objects that are creating unwanted strain on the physics engine. Apart from that, at this point your performance in those areas of the map are purely down to your system’s performance capabilities. Tell the gunman to talk to the hand.

Textures like the backrooms carpet, wallpaper and ceiling tile still don't have mipmaps, and the game will lag in some parts in the ff3 area that are near the skyway area because the smoke particles in the bottom seem to constantly be rendered until you're really far from the area. I'm also being held at gunpoint

@discodevini This is not a horror map, this is a sandbox map. If you want to turn it into a horror map you will have to spawn your own nextbots yourself.
