A Black Ops III Outbreak Experience

Return to the Classic Aether storyline in Vae Victis. Follow Misty, Russman, Marlton, and Stuhlinger just after the shocking climax of Tag Der Toten. Explore the Dark Aether like never before, as powers both ancient and newly arrived vie for dominance. Squad up and survive as you visit familiar locations made new, and do battle with enemies from all across the Aether Storyline! Fight the undead like never before in Black Ops III, as you safeguard the Better Tomorrow our heroes worked so hard to achieve from the ultimate evil. Loot, fight, and survive this BRAND NEW Custom Zombies OUTBREAK experience!

WARNING: ENSURE ALL MUSIC SETTINGS ARE ON FOR THIS MAP. SOUNDSCAPE IS CONSIDERED A KEY PART OF EXPERIENCE.

VAE VICTIS IS AN AMBITIOUSLY SCOPED PROJECT THAT AIMS TO BRING OUTBREAK?S OPEN WORLD ZOMBIES INTO BO3. AS A RESULT OF THIS, PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS MAP WILL BE HIGHER THAN MOST OTHER CUSTOM MAP EXPERIENCES. WE HAVE DONE OUR BEST TO OPTIMIZE SUCH A LARGE CREATION, HOWEVER THE PROJECT IN ITS FINAL STATE REACHES MANY OF BLACK OPS 3?S HARD LIMITS. VAE VICTIS WILL LIKELY BE INCOMPATIBLE WITH MOST MODS, AS A RESULT OF THIS. SSD RECOMMENDED.

    Hi Everyone! It?s been awhile. After spending almost a year on Vae Victis and seeing the successful launch, we began working on fixes and updates almost immediately. But, we?re human, and between a bit of burnout and the release of MWZ, the dev team all stepped away and didn?t finish our big update.

    However, NoahJ456 recently streamed Vae Victis, and he thought that we had just updated the map with a performance fix. That, however, was not the case. But since he did thank us for an update and reignited some interest in the map, we wanted to give you just that! And as an added apology for the wait - some extra content and easter eggs for you as well!!
    You can check out our full changelog on the "Change Notes" tab of the Workshop page, but in summary, some of the cool things you can expect are:

    New Loot! Perk Bottle Drops have been added to the drop pool! New Side Easter Eggs! 2 new side quests have been added to hunt! Weapon Adjustments! Jetgun fixes, big-time spear buffs, and roster-wide balance pass. FPS Boost! Scripts across the board have been optimized for better performance. Crash Fixes! Fixed some lingering edge-cases that could still cause crashes Pathing Adjustments! Worked on zombie pathing in some problem areas

creaste un outbreak en black ops 3 la verdad no pensaba que alguien fuera capaz de recrear el mierdon que estan haciendo hoy en dia en uno de los mejores zombies de la historia muchas gracias por este mierdon de mapa ojala todo ese trabajo vaya dedicado a un mapa de zombies que este bien hecho un saludo hijo de puta.

The map is 8/10, Real wonderful to see,A lot to explore but is empty in certain areas.
The perks are the original ones,7/10.No new ones from Bo4 or community.
The Weapons 8/10,Bo1 Bo2 and Bo3 ones,Really Good,wonder and common ones,but never trust the color of the weapon,it deals the same damage,i guess that is something it will change in the future.

The Killing and not damage dealing mechanic to gain money is something that i would remove or a good change mechanic,its logical because if you want you can buy a gun with 600 bullets and gain 10k with the zombies,But i strongly dislike that when you kill you dont take all the money,just the 30%,Why?
The new EE wonder weapon of the map is good,real good,now idk if can be upgraded but its not effective and it is
Circumstantial.

This map is probably the Top 5 best maps of COD community i've ever seen.Truly one of kind.

I absolutely loved this map when it released and played so much of it and cause I recently got back into Zombies I definitely will be playing this again..
I am however commenting now because I though of something that I am shocked I never thought about asking/suggesting/requesting before..
How likely would it be to have some of the poi's made into survival maps just like how Green Run had Tranzit and then all its Survival counterparts..
I think having Survival maps for certain locations would be cool and expand the Vae Victus experience by just the right amount, and also sorta allow people to enjoy the aesthetic of the map without having to play Outbreak..
Nevertheless, I am going to continue enjoying Outbreak and this map even if the survival map idea never gets done.. ^u^

Anyone mind pointing out what are the specs needed at least for this mod? Had it that not all textures load, had some Zs as floating head, or when I shot one in the torso, it disappeared. Ground also is not loaded properly

@monkayassman Its because outbreak by default actually gives you less points when you kill zombies, you are mostly to get points from objectives. So its not a bug or error in the map, its actually a feature from normal outbreak ported here

why do i lose points for getting kills? cant do anything because of it, not very fun
