Better Lane Change

Description
This mod improves lane changing behavior of cars for a more realistic lane switching.

Has it ever happened to you that you see a huge queue on one of your highway lanes? Is it because cars trying to merge to another lane are behaving randomly?

This mod fixes just that. Cars, by default, will drastically reduce the speed, do an almost 90º turn to face the other lane, and then will switch lanes. All this contributes to slowing everyone behind.

With this mod, lane changing is done somewhat more realistic. Cars won't reduce speed and will slightly turn to merge into another lane, without doing the steep turn that forces other cars to slow, creating the massive queue.

Where this mod will be of massive help is, for example, at highway exits where multiple cars are trying to exit the highway at the same time. Cars will do the "weird" turn into the exit lane, slowing everyone behind. With this mod, it will slide smoothly into the exit lane(s).

Note: This will not fix your traffic issues if they are caused by something else, not related to this weird lane changing behavior. If you are unsure, give it a try.

This mod is also compatible with TM:PE (it will follow the lane rules while switching smoothly)

This is my first mod, so I'm sorry if there are any issues. There were none for me. You can contact me in Discord for questions. (willy3532)

I don't think this is working, it doesn't crash the game but cars still do the slow 90° turn to change lanes. I do have 20-ish other mods so maybe it would work if this is your only mod

fully expecting it to be automatic because of the "This mod is also compatible with TM:PE" statement. since its not automatic, id rather use tmpe because its what im familiar with.

Mixed comments, is this working or not working? I tend to fix this by widening nodes with Node Controller but if this works as a sort of automatic equivalent that would be great.

Hopefully you'll update this mod for the new updates that recently happened. This mod is a game changer IMO, especially when you pair it with TMPE!
