Adventurers Don't BANKRUPT The Realm

Description
No More Bankrupting The ENTIRE Realm
The current implementation of contracts and resources in landless adventurer gameplay has significant flaws. If you stay for too long in one area, the entire realm ends up bankrupt, leaving nobody with any money for other important tasks. If you do travel around, then the realms you have been to are now at a disadvantage to those you have not travelled to. This approach is problematic because it basically drains the AIs entire pot of gold for purposes that provide no real benefit to the AI at all exacerbating the already sub-optimal decision-making that they display; and making the overall experience less enjoyable, as the player is literally just a detriment to everybody, which surely cannot have been the way Paradox intended...

A Better Approach: You’ll still get paid, but now the payments come from "magic gold" that doesn’t deplete the contract giver’s treasury. This ensures that the AI isn’t unnecessarily penalised for engaging with these contracts while maintaining the player’s rewards.

Regarding Wars: If you take a contract to assist in a war or are asked to join for gold, the AI still pays you directly. Since they benefit from your participation, it makes sense for them to contribute financially in those cases. It is probably not a good thing to give the player / AI access to free mercenaries.

Criminal Contracts: Gold is still deducted from the people that you are ambushing etc during the events, but it is not deducted from the actual person the contract is aimed at.

Is this compatible with The Fallen Eagle?

Just giving you a heads up. This mod breaks some interactions in AGOT, particularly the Targaryen Exiles interaction.

yeah can confirm as well. This mod does wonders for ensuring the AI maintain their Eco with Adventurerers around

Yeah I just went into the base vanilla game to test that theory, and no. I still bankrupted the AI utterly after a job, so this mod is far from obsolete.

I'll believe it when I see it

looks like this is no longer needed since they added code into the game so ai and player will not go bankrupt anymore because of these situations

after posted the history, thanks again for giving me opportunity to work for lord or king I like to serve instead broke ass employer. in wars, he give me golds by loots rights, criminal contracts then he hides some gold for... dark work. now I can good works for lord to help his people, catching bad guys and look good doing it. Cheers

plus in wars, it not often known but after battles, christian armies do loot their defeated enemies and both conscripted peasants and nobles in knights loot their enemy for either coin, equipments to sell or weapons blacksmith can buy, dare say half of medieval armies only payment to their army as historian (but not university employed) don't believe me, check out Holy roman empire, emperor barely pay their soldiers

What about compatibility? Is it compatible with anything - aside from probably not working with landless mods?
