Shards - Play as a God

Description
Now Supports 1.16!

Play a Divinity in CK3
Inspired by the shards from the Cosmere universe, the Pantheon of the Gods mod (now sadly dead) and the Warhammer 40K gods, I have decided to make a mod about playing a god.

Rather than other mods of this genre, however, the aim is less to play a godly humanoid, but an infinite, ethereal divinity manifesting in the world.

Help Wanted!
If you have a skill for writing, I am looking for help writing flavour events, prayers, and designing god domains!

In addition, anyone with GFX knowledge would be appreciated - I would love to make gods more godly.

Features
- Blessings:
Reward your followers! Create children of prophecy! As a god, you can grant blessings to any mortal you choose.
- Curses:
On the flipside, your divine station lets you hand out curses to those who displease you.
- True Immortality
As a Divinity, you (and the mortals you choose to share this gift with) are truly immortal. Should you be destroyed by blade, chance or illness, you will experience Rebirth - a new body being created for you with much of your powers and memories. This is an imperfect process however, and some things like relationships, opinions, hooks and perks don't currently transfer - something I might be able to fix in following updates.
- Healing and Harming
Well now, I couldn't make a mod about gods without the ability to smite mortals, could I?
- Faith Harvesting:
As a divinity, increase your power by making mortals worship you. Each county of your faith gives you a little bit more power!
- Manifestations:
Mechanics to choose how to manifest in the world. From avatars formed out of divine essence, through mortal prophets, to investing your divinity in a county.
- Divine Armies
Men at arms fit for a God, as well as the power to grant them to others.
- Dominion
Mechanics for deciding which mortals you can affect with your powers, and which are protected by their allegiance to a rival faith or opposition to you (Also great for game balance)
- Rival Gods:
Other intelligent gods attempting to wrestle control of the world from you.
- Great Holy Wars
As a Divinity, order your followers to march against the unbelievers.
- Cataclysms
Bring your divine judgement down on whole lands, causing vast destruction.
- Prayers
Your followers will ask things of your divine power, giving you the choice of either aiding them, or spurring them. Occasionally, rulers of other faiths will ask your support - in exchange of becoming your followers.

Planned Features
- More Faith Harvesting:
Mechanics for getting piety out followers.
- Domain
Be the god of Something!
- Artifact Creation
Create your own legendary artifacts.
- Supernaturals / Exalted Creation
Create your own types of supernaturals and exalted! Say you wanted to be the god of vampires....

FaQ
How do I become a Divinity?
Either choose the Divinity trait at CC, or use the new decision.

I want to create a new faith for my Divinity to lead
You can! The divinity trait makes new faith creation free.

How compatible is this mod?
After update 1.2.0, pretty much with everything until proven otherwise.

Started a game with only the Shards mod; same issue as before.

The tooltip mod doesn´t change any game mechanics; it adds the exact health, fertility and stress value to the tooltip of the health symbol (heart) in the character view.

If you disable the other mods, is it different?

The tooltip one sounds a bit suspect, perhaps

I don´t have any mods active in that playset that look like they could be the cause, either:
BCK - Dynmaic Lifestyle XP; Early Medieval Eras; No Holy Sites Needed; UltimateTooltipFramework; Hiraeth - Dynastic Legacy Overhaul; Young and Beautiful

That's really strange. I haven't done anything especially unique with the cost, so I'm not sure why this would happen - it's possible that the shown amount vs the actual one is different for some reason, but I struggle to know why that would be

Also, completely removing the holy MAA changed the monthly Piety gain to 36.6 (so +7.9 instead of +4.5), with no undocumented Piety cost on a new month.

This was with a total +77% bonus to Piety gain (and 4.5 times 1.77 is close enough to 7.9), which *might* mean that the calculation deducts upkeep from Piety gain *before* applying the bonus... and then apparently again afterwards.

After a bit of experimentation, I think the issue is that upkeep for the holy MAA is twice the amount that is shown. I started a new game, the piety gain/loss breakdown shows +28.7 Piety, actual gain during the first month was +24; MAA upkeep was shown as 4.5 Piety, so considering that the Piety total doesn´t show fractions, it is possible that the actual gain was 24.2 which might mean that MAA upkeep is twice the listed amount.

Then I raised the MAA; upkeep shown was 13.5, Piety balance shown was 12.7 (which is odd enough considering MAA upkeep only rose by 9), and the next month I lost 1 Piety - consistent with 12.7 gain minus 13.5 additional MAA upkeep.

So there appears to be something wrong with MAA upkeep.

Not auto-answering prayers. It´s every month while the avatar is leading the army, it appears to be the same amount every month.

I also noticed that, if I raise only the levies and leave the MAA at home, I lose only about 9 Piety a month (it shows +5.75, but Piety goes down by 3 or 4 each month). So the cost for raised holy MAA appears to be higher than is shown in the UI, but there is also something else.

@SireChaos

No, it shouldn't - is it a flat 20-30 everyy month, or does it drop in large amounts a few times a year?

Also, are you auto-answering prayers?

When I go to war and my avatar is personally leading an army, I start hemorraging Piety; the resource bar at the top would tell me I have a positive or somewhat negative (-5 or so per month) Piety balance, but I experience a net loss of 20-30 piety per month. Is that supposed to happen?

a god killer weapon would be cool
