Description
"Broken, he thought to himself, "there's no need to be down." The young man picked himself off the ground and proceeded. He was new in town and had no need to be unhappy, for there was a place he could go.

Short on dough, he was sure he could stay there. Upon arriving, he found there were many ways to have a good time. As had been foretold, it was indeed, fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A."

Village people is a large, (relatively) symmetrical 6-8 person map. It features island gameplay where bridges can be used as choke points, however the two centre bridges are indestrucable, to keep the game from screeching to a halt.

Players start on each side of the map, and will first take control of the small village. They can then choose to move to the centre islands to take the town, or head to the corner to take the industrial ruins, which features an airport, and plenty of cover for infantry.

Since the only way for players to access the enemy's industrial ruin area is to use infantry bridges from the centre town, it is a battleground focussed on infantry warfare. It's easier to defend than to attack, but this leaves room for complacency and flank attacks whilst enemies are focussed on the centre.

The town in the centre islands have plenty of buildings to garrison, and wider roads for vehicles and heavy armour. Capture points are centred in town squares/clearings, where teams can build up defenses. Beware though, as infantry can sneak through alley ways to access the buildings around these clearings and siege your control points.

The default resource limit has been increased, as your armies will be split over many warfronts. Though the map has choke points, there are plenty of opportunites to flank your enemy. Due to the multiple warfronts of this battleground, it is recommended for 6-8 players to avoid your resources being spread too thinly.

just throwing this out there for anyone else who might run into this issue. If you have a population modifier mod, it will revert to 160 upon loading a saved game. it took me alot of time to try and figure out why all my pop caps would go back to 160 when i loaded a saved game. it is this map. didnt have any issues on any other map
