I knew from the thumbnail that I was going to dig this one, and I did!
At first, I thought there was no way I could handle getting the ball across the poison water gaps, but I made it. And it was a nice touch having the final button to get the ball positioned just right on the sphere button.
I don't consider myself especially agile, but I was able to get it on the first try. Maybe I got lucky because a few times I was able to just wait and see if the sphere would roll a few inches in the direction I needed before starting another series of funnel trips.
Can you take a look at my level?

It's my first level. I've tested it for a few hours with a friend and I think it's in good shape, fun and fairly clever.
Thanks.
I have finally updated this map in Hammer with custom buttons and visuals, please give it a try instead:

For information, in the other maze I played, you simply have to place portals on the walls with a blue funnel entering your portals to move the cube ^^
If you have a moment, check the new maps in my workshop ;)
You can connect a button to a laser emitter that is already facing a laser catcher giving you additional connections, as the button and catcher now operate simultaneously.
To make a flip switch with a ball, you just make the ball receptor activate a cube dropper (auto-drop first cube disabled), that drops a cube that will be assisted by a tractor beam on pushing a button that will permanently activate something. Alternatively, you could connect the receptor to deactivate a light bridge which has a cube on it and a tractor beam facing down above that, and a button below everything.
I just felt like saying all of that, but it is probably not clear. Anyways, Good map.
Ideally I would've liked to use some custom buttons to step on to turn the tractor beams on and off, without having a large + area in the middle covering the maze below. But the 3 seconds-on does add some strategy.
Heck I would love to be able to flip a switch with the ball, instead of only triggering a button while the ball is on, then I could change the layout of the maze as you go along. But unfortunately only pedestal buttons remain on once triggered, and the ball can't trigger those.
And I would've liked to make it bigger, but I can only connect 8 tractor beams to a button, I went with 7 for the symmetry.
Too easy?
