Description
Ingenuity: 7/10
Dexterity: 3/10

It's a noun and a verb, you know.

This is quite a complex chamber, though the answer is simple. Please let me know how you do; I may change things around if it's too obvious. Have fun. :)

P.S. if your answer seems messy, or too easy, please let me know so I can patch it up.

Understood. Hint: a normal cube in flight interferes with the laser

What is the intended solution? I think that in the intended solution, when the button is pressed, the laser should hit the laser receiver. But I don't understand how.

Messy, very messy. I peaked at cloudeh's hint.

Nice one and I agree with Kuba.

Map would be better without possibility of disabling the funnel. It really isn't necesssary to complete this chamber.

So I took another look at this chamber, and even knowing exactly what to do, it still took me three tries.

So, the takeaway.

You should really only kill the player (laserfields, goo) for painfully obvious mistakes. The kind of thing where the player should feel like an idiot anyway. Anything that will require some amount of trial and error, however, should be forgiving and allow easy reset and reattempt (and I don't mean F9.) Fizzlers and a faith plate to get back out instead of goo, for example.

Also with the more obscure moves like this one, a training room can be helpful. Partly because some players have never seen that move before. Partly because some have seen so many strange things the right one may not be the first thing they think of.

Ah, I see. Cube kick off the ceiling. I would have rated the dexterity requirement a lot higher (6-8?), due to the tight timing, luck in how the cube lands, and the fact it's a trick I've only seen in Myr's test chambers.

Never mind hitting the faith plate, the fact that it overshoots its target and lands in the water beyond makes this impossible. There's no available white surfaces to use the funnel to intervene, and no amount of air control or mid-air collisions between the player and cube can fix it. Careful split-second timing to move the angle panel barricade back in to deflect trajectory downward? Just got me stuck in the panel. Throw the cube against the far wall and kick off of it? Already down in the moat when I get there. And the one time I somehow made it onto the button without the cube? No way to retrieve a new cube except start over. Horrible, absolutely horrible. And it's too bad, because the laser puzzle was pretty clever. If I wasn't supposed to ride to the faith plate with the cube, there should be a laserfield. Plus the timing is incredibly frustrating.
