csxfanman - I may have had the same problem with the "Heritage Hauling" Scenario. I prefer to blame file corruption on crashes first - before getting into the weeds with specs and so one. I would delete the scenario too and let it reload.
Start by deleting the route:
This is the path to the route folder for the New York Division - Croxton Ordinary:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Content\Routes\6cb63002-c605-4402-aea7-032a8eaa4a06
The route folder had the scenarios too. If you delete the route folder that will force a reload of everything.
Last, depending on you machine, its a fact that Croxton and Hoboken are loaded with assets and crashes, when they are reported, mostly come from this two places.
