This mod adds 40 new dyes and counting! - For age of heroes update 10/17/2024

I am very open to suggetions and requests for new colors.

Current Features of DyeMoreBetterer 0.2.20

-40 new dyes
Pink Dye
Demon Blood Dye (a richer red)
Yellow lotus dye
Blue Variants:
Lapis, Prussian Blue, Sky Blue, Caribbean Blue, Navy Blue
Green Variants:
Hunter Green, Jade, Vivid Olive Green, Chartreuse
Cyan Variants:
Teal, Aqua
Purple variants:
Periwinkle, Lavender, Orchid, Violet, Indigo
Dyes for metal
(not metallic, just colors that look like different metals when on metal armor parts )
Iron, Copper, Brass, Bronze, Silver, Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold, Dark Steel, Ymir's-Bronze
"Glaring" versions of the normal colors that look almost emissive (but aren't)

-Ironstone Powder: an ingredient for making the metal dyes - made from putting Iron stone in the grinder.

Recipes are unlocked from separate feats for each color group. Brown, yellow, red, green, blue, cyan/aqua, megenta, purple, dyes for metal, grey, and glaring dyes are in seperate feats.

IS it possible to have dye that makes a dyeable section transparent? Would be great to make parts for some helmets disappear.

So I finally figured out why I still couldn't see the dyes. I didn't realize the .PAK name was changed (It now has "Reborn" added to the original filename). I manage my modlist manually because I have a couple mods that are no longer on Steam and using the normal mod manager removes them, so I never got the updated PAK name. I figured it out when I had a mismatch after setting up the dedicated server on my PC to get TOT Custom working again.

I thought all this time it was broken or crashing something. actually it turns out I had the firebowl caldron feat in there in order to lower the level requirement for i dont even know what reason but it was before they added the separate reset potions for stats and so this mod was blocking them. People pointed this out but i didnt see it. been going through a lot of stuff and did not have time/ motivation/energy/drive to do the things i wanted to do. I appreciate you all's kind comments very much. Any way, I want to add some new colors so I'm gonna ask for ideas from players again and now that i dont have a computer thats on its last leg as my workstation i can actually do them this time around. Right now I'm working on some "off-white" shades, mostly inspired by popular paint tones.

NP, it happens. The update is just a week away, and it's hardly a gamebreaking thing. Ironically, everything worked just fine before you updated it LOL.

wow, somehow, the feats got removed between the time of testing my local copy and then uploading. and mods can't update until the update to the game 😩

Since the update, I can't find any of the dies fom this game anymore. The ones I had disappeared and I can't craft or spawn them again. I manually uninstalled/installed the mod, verified game files, and moved the mod way down in my mod list (it was near the top, it's now 10th from the bottom). The old version worked just fine with the same mode list. Anyone else having this problem, or does anyone have suggestions?
