Update: 12. Nov. 2021 um 3:25

v 2.1

The galaxy should look mostly the same as v 2.0 but with some changes and fixes:

-Reduced thickness of dust near the edges of the galaxy.

-Improved texture near the galactic core.

-The galactic bulge is now a little bit bigger and rounder.

-Reduced thickness of the spiral arms when looking at the sides of the galaxy.

-Small tweaks in dust placement from Earth (Thanks doc!)

-Fixed blue artifacts near the core.

-Fixed texture clipping at the edges of the model.

-Overall cleaner look.

Update: 2. Nov. 2021 um 3:01

v 2.0

The texture of the Milky Way has been completely reworked to be more scientifically accurate. Some of the most notable features are:

-Increased resolution of the Milky Way to 4096x4096

-Much more defined spiral arms of the Milky Way (currently, you can see Centaurus, Norma, Perseus, Sagittarius, and the Orion spur.)

-Reduced overall dust (so the galaxy is not as dark as the first version.)

-A little more saturated galaxy overall.

-More brightness overall.

Update: 23. Okt. 2021 um 1:35

v 1.0

-Initial relase.

-Procedural SBb galaxies still use the default Milky Way model.
