Btw here's a very late apologize for being mad at you for criticizing my map, i was probably in a bad mood or something, so sorry about that :)
just a walkthrough on this level if you get stuck, and wanna cheat it.
I made a map just about that a long time ago:

But all in all, a really great chamber. Nice work.
Thank you for your comments on ADI'S maps. ADI'S 1080 will be ready soon.
I like this map too, it really is clever. But a bit diffult for me :D
Wow. Thanks, mate. Maybe you can still discover new aspects in my new chamber(s). Feel free to check out the collection!
Let me remind all of you of my new chamber, "Shortage", in case you wanna test:

Thanks very much, dude, I'll test your chamber asap.
@Mr.Johno:
Thanks very much, I'll check the mod but at the moment I guess you know you can save with F6 and load with F7. As I said before, there was no need to time the sphere, you can just let it go from your hands with the portals already placed. How? I invite you to find out, or if you want to know without retesting just ask.
@HMW:
Thank you very much, mate. If the chamber has improved in some way it is 'cause I followed good advice. Thanks a lot for the info about the glass behaviour, I won't forget it because I'm gonna need it in the future and not knowing it made my designing poorer and more complicated. I'll try keeping the standard at least, improving if possible. And there's no need to time the sphere! :)
Thank you and sorry about the portals in the third room, I wanted to add a little bit of skill in that part. About timing the sphere, there's no need to do that and, in fact, I placed the portals in such a way that timing it looked like the more obvious solution, but there's another way of doing it. Just try again or ask if you wanna know.
@ColorCubeMan:
Thanks, I found it funny too :) If any lambda player tests my chambers I hope he'll end up being an epsilon one :)
@Seji-Evan:
I really appreciate that. Agreed it's not the most natural move, just wanted to use the blue Franken cube making it known to as many testers as possible. My new chamber, Shortage, is absolutely natural (or so I think).
(For the record, you can extend a glass panel over a fizzler or laser field, as long as it's attached to the block above it, and facing down. But your solution is better, so don't bother.)
The lighting has also improved a lot, and I like the slightly a-symmetrical placement of the windows. Good job!
@Mr.Johno: you can give yourself a bit more time if you exploit the special rolling powers of the edgeless safety cube ;)
interesting use of franking cube.
how to use repultion gel, stumped me, for a while.
I have a map where the franking cube is also essential.
please let me know what you think. #F4F

Thanks again for cheking for unintended solutions and posting the video (this time I was able to watch it). The chamber has been updated to remove that solution.
... Or maybe it is a bug I exploited, yeah (I most definitely shouldn't have watched Prometheus).
So, in my next chamber (coming soon), there'll be no bugs-exploiting and everything will be orthodox.
Again, thank you for your input and time!
PS: If anyone is interested, I am selling these leather jackets and a pair of high quality beams...

Thanks for testing and for taking the time to write and suggest, I really feel honored. As you said, this is indeed my first chamber. I added some more lights and removed the decorative funnels; I didn't really like them but they were a present from my aunt Casilda. She's not really my aunt to be honest, she is my uncle Hermenegildo's wife. I know she bought them in IKEA but my mother pushed me to use them; anyway, she doesn't come here often so she won't notice they're not there anymore. About the lenght of the glass panel, well, it used to be longer this morning, before I changed it because testers complained (and they were full of reason) that they had to wait too long for the Franken cube...

The lighting in the first and second rooms can be improved IMO. It may be enough to add a small observation window to each room. Or remove the decorational funnels from the side windows and add light panels in the wall there. I think that would look nice!
I also agree with tmast98, that the area around the bridge / gate could use some more walking space. Just extending the glass panel one block in each direction should be enough. (You can make a glass panel as big as you want, just as long as it is attached to at least one solid block.)
I will change the bridges so that you won't get trapped (I'll leave just one). I didn't connect the floating block on purpose, thinking it would look cool, but if it looks so unrealistic it will be connected immediately!
@AD_79:
Yes it was, "Bounce", and it is credited in my chamber's description. As I said to @tmast98, the floating block will be connected (although Aperture Science can create this device and many other weird things like the Franken cube or Wheatley itself :) )
Again, thank you very much guys!
@Timoteeei:
I know how to run .dem files (ever since Mothalius taught me, like two days ago) but I can't open yours, they both load like for 0'2 seconds and then nothing happens, and in one of them the game crashes after I get an error message: "Bad inline model number 1". Could you please save the videos and send them to me again? And about shortening the wait for the cube and ball (and the chance of getting trapped) by using just one light bridge, I will most certainly change it.
The only thing I didn't like was the floating block with the faith plate. Unless Aperture has created some kind of device that allows things to float in the air, I suggest you connect that to another part of the chamber. Thumbs up!
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/80055148/Underdog_testing.rar (Hope you know how to run *.dem files ;)
I like the concept but would like to see version with the shorter way for Franken and edgeless cubes. May be you could cut it to the one "gate" - it will also reduce the risk of getting stuck of cubes in this way. (I have one of this situation and i don't like to start all over again)
This is just my opinion and you decide to follow my advice or not =)
Thanks for playing and for the feedback. You skipped as much as you could which is the same thing I would have done :) I'll try and correct everything so that it can't be solved your way. Thanks again!
EDIT: Updated to remove that solution.
