The path just isn't clearly structured, sadly. Other than that it's a well done difficulty level.
I was ONE step away from beating this gloriously insane chamber and I had to look up your walkthrough to see why I can't reach that damned taunting exit. That's when I has realized the inane difference in speed between orange gel momentum and falling momentum.
Thumb up, good sir.
Also, I didn't need the hard light bridge. As long as there's a cube on the button to raise the angled panel, it's possible to jump to it. I don't think that provided any shortcuts, though.
Yep, definitely did the blue gel+cube as intended but I took a weird way of getting there....I wound up taking it outside of the first room instead of bridging the two with portals. It worked but was harder...
Also, needing to switch those 2 boxes near the beginning was evil!
The other 9 chambers were moderate...this one had me confused for quite a while.
I did not watch the hint video(s), but with that said I don't think I went through everything in the proper order...
I think I did the blue gel+cube as intended, but reading the other comments I probably backtracked a few times. Very satisfying to solve. Going to watch the videos now to see what I could have done better ;p
Thanks for the suggestion.
BTW, I haven't used the orange gel at all... What it is for?
Very nicely done. :)
This is now one of my favorite maps!

C'est le niveau le plus difficile que j'ai fait, BRAVO !!
(I'm french)
Even though it's not my kind of puzzle, I know this is the kind of thing a zillion players do want, so I give a thumbs up for all the hard work and playtesting that you must have gone through to create this map. The collection as a whole was very good. Thanks!
Part of the problem is that it starts at a really high difficulty, eases off a little, gets crazy again (when you need the blue gel), and then roughly levels off at a slightly easier difficulty. Then the map shines. But starting is hard. Maybe just add some numbers or signage Portal 1 style? Might even need to touch up the map in Hammer. (But that might conflict with the mod? *Shrug* If you do nothing, that's okay, the hardcore players should still be thrilled.)

One of the hardest and interesting map I've played in a while.
I have just a small problem my friend found that allowed him to skip a step, I will put it below in spoiler text. Please don't read unless you have finished the map!
My friend was able to skip a step, this step being the part where you put blue goo on a cube, then bounce it into the room with three blue tractor beams/funnels (through the laser field). What he did was that he placed portals underneath the tractor beams/funnels such that they were layered on top each other. This allowed him to ascend upwards, then he shot the angled white wall next to where the sphere drops. Somehow from this he finished the map without ever bouncing a blue goo covered cube off that angled wall. In order to fix this, just remove the white panels underneath two of the tractor beams/funnels so that there is only white under one of them. This still allows you to complete then next step while stopping this game bug. Thanks for reading and thanks for the map!
This is the best "Binary Labs" chamber. A great finale!
