Great puzzle. I never would have got the first moves - glad of the vid solution to follow. Very nice anyway. I learned some tricks

Clever stuff! Took me a bit to see. My execution of the solution was clean and I did not find it gimmicky.

Another one of my all-time favourites - beautiful hidden gem with an awesome solution I've never seen before.
Mikeastro 4 Jun, 2021 @ 10:38am
Clever but quite gimmicky

Still an elegant puzzle: so simple, but so difficult to see. It makes me smile as I go through my favourites and come across little gems like this.

Never seen that interaction before, very clever
canticle 25 Apr, 2019 @ 1:39pm
Really nice use of portal aspect -- knew I needed something to hold the cube above the funnel source, but how to do it and keep a portal in both sections? . Nice!
bullfrog 19 Jun, 2017 @ 3:03am
Excellent puzzle. I don't think I've come across exactly that move before. Thumbs up and favorited :)
jandlml 23 Sep, 2016 @ 7:35pm
great chamber!
Trensposys 28 Feb, 2016 @ 2:46pm
i gave up :(
Thank god i found someone on youtube who played this level in a blindrun ( https://youtu.be/4IszcMMtNow at 46min 45 sec )
Very nice chamber (kammer ) Good job :steamhappy:
Trensposys 28 Feb, 2016 @ 2:27pm
I cheated my way to the end throwing the cube in the exit chamber (still possible
After reading the comments i will try again for the right way to do it :)
kimist108 23 Feb, 2016 @ 6:27pm
Love that ah-ha hitting me.
jgaultney 11 May, 2015 @ 6:56am
A very clever puzzle. That was a new move for me :D Thumbs up and favorited!!

@stormsend thanks for your nice comments!

What I meant to say was Fantastic. A favorite.
Jotta  [author] 4 May, 2015 @ 10:16am
@Kuba thank you very much man! i'm glad to hear that
Kuba 3 May, 2015 @ 1:11pm
I have found the intended solution in one of the comments on this site though, It's a very clever solution. You are really great Portal 2 mapper, all your maps are challenging. 6 of them went to my favourites and I'm rather picky about that.
Kuba 27 Apr, 2015 @ 1:44pm
I have managed to finish this chamber but I had to be fast. What is the intended solution? I couldn't find it in comments. Anyway definitely it's one of my favourite maps.
stormsend 27 Oct, 2014 @ 4:00pm
I am sad to say you got me with this one. I can't remember ever seeing this done. It's a great idea. And I was enjoying the mind melt. I eventually went looking for clues and figured it out but I can't take credit for that. Great puzzle. Thanks.
The Sojourner 29 May, 2014 @ 10:58pm
I wonder if adding a fizzler close to the exit portalable surface would guide players toward the intended solution a bit better...
The Sojourner 29 May, 2014 @ 10:52pm
First try: I felt like I had to ninja it....
First impression: very Azorae-like, swapping out elements with portals and what not.
wildgoosespeeder 29 May, 2014 @ 5:40pm
Oh yeah, forgot! The square symbol could have been avoided. I have antline tricks found in my profile screenshots, specifically relating to fizzlers and laser fields.
wildgoosespeeder 29 May, 2014 @ 5:28pm
I had to take bobdugan_2000's hint. I know the light bridge can be redirected on top or on the bottom of a portal if both options exist for a single light bridge. I also know that I can redirect a funnel and a light bridge through the same pair of portals at the same time. I just never thought about piecing them together. I thought that light bridge redirection on top instead of on bottom would be useless. Guess not. That is my only gripe with this chamber. Maybe an introductory room is in order without so much revealing needing to think of that?
bobdugan_2000 27 May, 2013 @ 6:01pm
That took way too long, a sign of a good puzzler :). Andres Goldbaum, I tried your trick but it was too Ninja for me, but it did get me thinking. Here's a hint of what I did: I wound up placing a portal on the lower portion of the light bridge instead of the upper portion. A move or two later, it gave me all the time in the world to walk over to the last button to stand on it . Really clever Jotta, you're Mevious like!
Almisuifre 26 May, 2013 @ 5:15pm
Nice solution ! After trying all I could, I had to stop and wonder : "The puzzle ask me to place at the end, a portal here, another here, ok, while I'm here, and the cube there ... how ?" That's how I solved it ;)
Andres Goldbaum 10 May, 2013 @ 8:30pm
I solved it using a dirty trick that delayed the cube enough to allow me to arrive at time to the button :P
Youtube Video
I found a glitch in Portal 2 too (floating cube). Albeit it wasn't used in the solution.
XLR8br 19 Apr, 2013 @ 6:05pm
So I've been busy but I finally replayed this and I must say it was very tricky indeed. Good job!
KennKong 3 Feb, 2013 @ 3:09pm
I must say, I haven't seen that mechanic before. Nice little trick!
madvtdm 6 Dec, 2012 @ 6:50pm
Got it. Wow, that is twisted. I don't think I could have done it without the screen shots. Pretty awesome map there Jotta. I'll end my day with more knowledge than when I woke up, that's for sure.
madvtdm 5 Dec, 2012 @ 3:57am
Thanks, I looked at them, I'll try that out. I don't see it yet but I'm up to the challenge. You are really twiting my brain into a knot with this one :O
Jotta  [author] 5 Dec, 2012 @ 2:22am
@madvtdm hey i made more screenshots, I am sure they will help you;)
madvtdm 4 Dec, 2012 @ 6:38pm
This logic is too much for me... I must say it's the last step that gets me too... I would like to learn something new, do you have a walkthrough that we can see?
Jotta  [author] 13 Nov, 2012 @ 1:44pm
@esmo Thanks
esmo 13 Nov, 2012 @ 7:27am
nice mechanic, cheers.
DeathWish808 12 Nov, 2012 @ 1:21pm
No problem. Mind trying my latest one? http://cs2bus.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=107995911

Not nearly as hard as yours, but hopefully still entertaining. Thanks!
Jotta  [author] 12 Nov, 2012 @ 1:18pm
@DeathWish808 Thanks ;)
DeathWish808 12 Nov, 2012 @ 12:34pm
First part didn't take very long and I thoughht, meh, pretty easy... until the last part to get the cube in the exit area. That alone took me about ~30 minutes. Clever use of both the light bridge and funnel to hold and transport the cube.
Jotta  [author] 12 Nov, 2012 @ 10:10am
"kammer" is just german for chamber
Clericopter 12 Nov, 2012 @ 9:07am
Ahh ok. I did think of getting into the portal under the light bridge somehow but it felt like too much of an acrobatic maneuver. The edited version definitely helps. Thanks for a strenous logic workout.

(By the way, what does the title mean?)
Clericopter 11 Nov, 2012 @ 10:15pm
I just can't figure this one out. I'd already figured out your screenshot hint -- it's the final step that eludes me.
LM80 9 Nov, 2012 @ 9:46am
The intended solution works right?
Jotta  [author] 9 Nov, 2012 @ 9:35am
would be cool, thanks ;)
LM80 9 Nov, 2012 @ 9:24am
No, will give it another shot some other day.
Jotta  [author] 9 Nov, 2012 @ 8:29am
@LM80 thank you for the info, i changed it. Would be really nice if you would try it again.
Do you know how you can solve it the intended way?
mausilibaer 6 Nov, 2012 @ 10:20am
Schade, dann wird das Ding ja richtig schwer ;)
Jotta  [author] 6 Nov, 2012 @ 9:58am
@mausiibear thank you, I edited it
