first thoughts, could use subtitles for the new dialogue, some players hearing isn't perfect and subtitles can be a big help. also some of the rubble around the monitor is floating in the air a little
it's possible to fire a bomb rather close to the same monitor, maybe include a line if the player does that, something like "what the hell? be careful with those things!"
anyway so far it's fun and interesting

@Sharkwolf7 I used Hammer to create my level and put the core in through that. If you'd like a more detailed explanation, let me know! I'd be glad to tell you about it.

@apackman2011 Thanks for the feedback! I'm going to keep working on finding a solution to overlapping dialogue. I agree about the white paint and I actually implemented a way to shut it off, but had some problems with it and couldn't get it working in time to release it. It's on my to-do list, though!

@Raensh Thanks for letting me know about that! I'll see if I can recreate that and then fix it.

@Wolf bytes I struggled a lot with that puzzle element, as it involved using some mechanics in ways that were never really used in the original game. I'm going to messing with the way that part works, but I'm glad you did at least manage to figure it out!

the second time i played it, i found a way to beat it in less than 30 secs. I dont know if you did this on purpose, but if u zoom in and shoot a portal on the white spot on top of the entrance tunnel, you can shoot a portal on the spot over the door and use the propulsion gel to fling yourself over the hole.

Nicely done. Though what to do before finally find the "closet" was hard. I knew i had to do something with the bombs, but I wasn't sure, thought I had to attack Grounded himself. Though finally did find what to do. Nice.

Very nice, but I found a useful glitch when I had a clipping error and was able to jump up out of the initial messy platform area. I jumped out over at the spot where the water is falling. This got me to the spot with the button pretty effectively though :P

Very cool! I really like the concept and this definitely shows a lot of time went into it.

I did manage to press the button before the forced focus, so I ended up hearing both the "don't press it" and "bomb" dialogue at the same time.

Also finding the exit tunnel at the end was annoyingly difficult, with both the white paint constantly in your face and how dark it was. Adding some way to shut off the white paint when not needed would help this a lot.

Can't wait to play the next version!

fair enough, i tend to play without sound, have headphones plugged in but rarely wear them, so could hear something was being said, but not what. Mostly i just like solving the puzzle aspect. Keep it up though and i look forward to trying some of your other ideas. :)

@Neksus That's okay. It would just be nice to have some constructive feedback so I could work on making it better. This is my first serious level, so I wasn't expecting it to be mindblowing, but simply calling it "bad" without any detail or context serves no purpose. If you don't want to give any real feedback, that's what the rating system is for. No need to comment at all.

@korktur the forced focus was a tough decision. As the level wasn't originally designed to contain dialogue, I had to make sure that the user was given enough time to hear dialogue lines before triggering another line. In some places, forced focus was the only reasonable way to accomplish this. I agree that it's not ideal. In some places, like at the button, it was the only way to temporarily prevent players from pressing the button in a way that didn't cause confusion. If I had simply disabled the button to give enough time for the line to finish, people would be confused by the fact that they couldn't initially press the button and that there was no obvious feedback that the button has become active. Checkpoints are going to be in by the next version for sure. They're on my to-do list.

@Neksus after spending over 70 hours in Hammer over the past week, I really appreciate the constructive feedback! Totally not soul-crushing or anything.
