@Mafoo still hoping you bring this mod up-to-date at some point. It currently doesn't play nice with the G-menu categorization, has redundant blocks that Keen has since added, and some of your blocks show green indicator lights (signifying successful connection) when they shouldn't. But your mod is the only one with that handy small grid 3x3 conveyor converter which I love to use.

would love to bring this mod back onto my server at some point

Any word on this being updated to remove redundancy with blocks that are now Vanilla? I'd really like to be able to use the Medium Conveyor Tube and the 1x5 Piston from the More Pistons mod as they're the perfect size together for longer nested piston setups!

removed this mod from my world after removing ARs conveyor Additons --> all my connections won't turn green now, even when I rebuild all conveyors in the same space :(

The 4 way conveyor is also part of Vanilla now when using ' pipes ' from Industry DLC. Forgot to mention that covered conveyor are too now vanilla.

More, there is a conflict with this mod and the new conveyor blocks. With this active, the new blocks can not be found or seen.

The ' Conveyor Adapter ' and the T 3-way are now vanilla.

Confirming the comment from May 11, 2021, the Small Conveyor Tube Medium has a physics model that extends quite a bit further than it should. This creates some odd behavior when attaching it to a hinge, making it unusable.

@condottiere Thanks, tried it - i found it a horrid nightmare to make the connections i needed. Unfortunally i don't think it can be done with just modding, and while i have programming experience, making a plugin for SE is a bit too much at the moment.

I really like your mods and have used it long enough to learn that it is a really good mod for what it offers but something is missing that would make it completely finished and it would probably require you to collaborate with these mod creators:

Would it be possible to create conveyors that are 5,10 and 20 kilometers long?
i know its a bit extreme - i'd rather have a block that merge the features of the laser antenna and the connector :) ..but i don't think that's possible.

This is a great mod! Found this in my friend's modded server. Is there any chance you could combine the angled, medium, and long tubes into (or in with) a single tooltip, like you did with hanging and covered conveyors?

Dude....If you scroll up and look at picture number two on this site here....that piece....that single piece has made it way into so many of my builds. I needed that piece. I feel like it should of been included standard in the game. Thank you for making this. I can not express how much fun I have had with this piece. Absolutely made SE better

*if* the junctions created lag, which given the evidence is an ancient issue that was addressed years ago when they had items visibly flowing through conveyors. my pieces would still cause the same amount of lag as they are just 6 port junctions with some of the ports not visible/useable

I've heard from a couple server admins that "the lag increases *per port*, so the 6-way junctions create more lag than one might think." Idk if that's true, but it seems reasonable. If true, then this mod could reduce lag overall on MP servers at least. Maybe. Plus, it's cool.

@GoalieMoney I am curious about that as well -- what is the performance impact of the new junctions and how do they differ from the vanilla ones (if at all)?

I've also become curious as to whether there's any well documented analysis of the impact of the vanilla 6-way junction blocks, and whether it has changed any from version to version. I'm curious about things like what the "critical mass" point is, if there's a quantity where the processing starts to upspike rapidly, etc.

Now I'm wondering what tools to use/develop to measure it so I can analyze it. uh oh...

Does this mod help with the server lag issue caused by having too many conveyor junctions? Or do the different 3 and 4 way junctions cause just as much of an issue?

ok so it seems like the small grid medium conveyor has the wrong physics dummy, can anyone else confirm?

what I've been running into lately, and yes that does affect things like hinges and rotors being placed on them.

Greetings, @Mafoo, your mod has been a blessing. I have some other conveyor mods in conjunction & they together seem to break the variant group of conveyor tubes. Is it possible that I could receive a permission to redistribute your mod to fix the bug? Cheers,

Can confirm no more crashes with latest update.

I also took the previous version of the mod, created a testworld and sent them to Inflex as they already have an internal issue for that looking for this bug since 196 update.

With that it can be reproduced and hopefully be fixed eventually. So the Tube wont need to act like a Junction to not break

New Version Angled conveyor has had its subtype adjusted to hub rather than tube to try and address the crashing issue.
The fastest way to reach me is via the official Keen Discord in modding-art-sbc.

I have a theory as to why this happens (to do with the empties used to tell SE how to connect conveyor ports) I think they might be overlapping 3 connections when an angled conveyor is used. Unfortunately, the reference blocks have their empties set up slightly different from how they appear in-game so I need to try my best to extract what keen's ends up being with how mine is configured to see if I can get them to match.

Angled tubes just absolutely crashes the game. It's specifically deleting it, not building it. And for those experiencing this problem, try extracting out the section the tubes are on and then removing that with the admin menu, it worked on the tube that my friend had placed while he was playing on my world, after it crashed him out of it for trying to delete it.
